I’m replacing a couch with a narrow twin bed frame from zinus on amazon but am having trouble finding a mattress until $120 other than the zinus brand ones with their scary fiberglass and mold reviews.
Any suggestions for mattresses or even affordable places to get a custom piece of foam or whatever cut that I can stuff in a mattress cover?

I'm doing a similar thing I'm ordering a twin XL and turning it into a couch I'm going to use the sinus bed frame to start and I'm planning on ordering foam from foambymail.com I've just been lagging on pulling the trigger on the foam.

Depending on the area you live in, you may be able to find a small manufacturer that does custom sized mattresses. You might be able to buy direct, or you could special order through one of their retailers.

Mattresses smaller than twin?
"Twin" is a standard size (75"×38"). You can sometime find "small singles" that are 75"x30". You can try looking up RV beds or just buy foam and cut it to size. You can stack inside a sheet for more height if you need. More on reddit.com

I haven't had any luck in my search for a quality (memory foam or hybrid) mattress in the "small single" (30-inch wide) size. Does anyone have some ideas?
The mattress needs to be a decent quality, since I'll be using the camper for full-time travel. There are plenty of good 38"-wide "twin/single" mattresses available, but I'd rather use the extra 8 inches for other purposes.

Currently have a 10" hybrid twin in my Sequoia but I would like something narrower for the extra space. Would be nice to stick with something like what I already have, just narrower. The only two I can find are two from Zinus, a 6" memory foam and 6" hybrid, but it would be nice to stick around 10 inches.
Anyone know of any other narrow twins?
