Good evening, for those that have requested an increase on your credit card limit how hard was it to get it? I have the signature flagship rewards card and was thinking about asking for an increase. Thanks
Do you apply for this or usually navy fed increase your limit automatically?

So im thinking about having Navy Federal do a credit pull on me to have my the max balance on this card to have a higher credit limit, i currently have a total limit of $68,300 of available credit. My question is, is it worth the hard pull on my credit report , my credit score is in the the low to mid 800’s
I waited 3 months and 3 statements before applying for a credit limit increase I also did it through the manage card request for a soft pull. Haven’t heard any word back yet does anyone know when will I hear back?
Hey yall quick question I submitted my request for a credit limit increase and receive this message .. does this mean it was deny ? if deny how long should I wait till request again ? Today was the 182nd day from the last increase aswell..
Balance looks up because of labor day but you can see available credit.
I've been with Navy Fed for 90ish days today. I have the blue amex CC with a $4600 limit that I had applied for thru the app so it was a soft inquiry. This will be my 3rd statement tomorrow. Current balance - $87. Or 1.9%. I have 1 secured loan of $500 with 90% paid off. Regular check and savings. I feel like I'm eligible for a way higher limit if I apply but I don't know if I should just apply with a hard inquiry via phone for a new card to get the increase+higher starting limit or just grind this card. If that makes sense

Seeking advice
My credit score is a not the best, but I got approved for this card. What’s the best way to utilize this card to not only get an increase but also raise my credit score?
Also when would be an ideal time to request a credit limit increase? I just got approved for the card in the 26th.
What patterns should I follow to ensure a credit increase? Any advice would be helpful. Really thing to improve my credit score with the hopes of buying a home in the next year or so.
I was approved for a credit limit increase about an hour ago but it hasn't updated in the app.. 👀 Is this normal? Has this happened to anyone else ?
I was wondering the max I can ask for on the Navy Fed app. I know that you can only ask every 3 months for a higher limit. But I asked again for a 5k increase, wondering what the limit is.
I applied for a credit limit increase yesterday in app after 91 days, haven’t seen anything yet. Whats the wait time since I know they changed the structure of increases?
I'm curious on how to request a credit limit increase on the navy federal app so I don't receive a hard pull, and how much should I request for? I just crossed over the 3 statement mark, but will probably wait another 10 days or so before requesting a limit increase to increase chances. (navy federal platinum card $500 limit, internal score 261, e-checking, share savings account, 2 certificates open )
Okay, so I got this card back in October 23, 2024. My credit limit then was at $11,500. I was planning to ask for a credit limit increase at around Feb-Mar or maybe apply for a CC with a different bank. However, I just looked at my credit limit and it suddenly increased to $14,000???
Does this mean I can’t ask for a credit increase in feb/march since this is basically a CLI even if i didn’t request it? Or would I still be able to ask for a CLI using the 91/3 rule since I first got the card?
My credit score is 735 and spend an around $1200-1700 monthly on the card. Always paid on time.
Have had my Amex since mid April, got approved originally for 24,700 and I requested a credit line increase of 8K yesterday morning and my limit increased later that night. I waited about 92 days and had my first 3 statements already on file. Really happy with this! Hoping to build it more from here! Cheers!
