Hey guys! I'm sharing this Necromancer level 1 through season journey demonstration for anyone who plans to level the Necromancer on the console version of Diablo 3 in season 37. This strategy is the most viable on the Wizard and Necromancer but can be done on other characters.

Following these steps, you can complete the season journey in about 2 hours from a fresh season start on hardcore or softcore without the use of the challenge rift cache.

I'm posting the steps below, but there are also timestamps with step by step instructions and a D3planner that shows what skills you should use as you progress from 1-70 in the video description.

Leveling Steps TLDR -----

Create Necro. Take the items from the templar and scoundrel. Equip javelin and salvage the shield/bow. Unlock first step on Altar of Rites (DO NOT TALK TO THE ENCHANTRESS)

Complete a 'Kill Zoltun Kul' Bounty on Hard Difficulty

Create a lobby on hard difficulty and travel to Kanai's Cube in Ruins of Secheron. Kill enemies along the way to level to 18, Go to Halls of Agony 3 afterwards to finish leveling to 18 if short on XP

At level 11, teleport to town and take the staff from the enchantress for a 3-4x damage increase

After reaching level 18, Complete 'Kill Zoltun Kul' bounties on normal difficulty for 2 diamonds and arcane dust if you lack 15 dust for the altar (this may take several times). Killing Zoltun Kul additional times will make the next step easier as your gear will be stronger.

Upgrade your jeweler to level 2 and combine your 2 diamonds to get reduced level requirement from the altar of rites and put all of your best necro gear in the stash

Create a NEW level 1 necro, equip all of the lv 18 items from previous character

Create new lobby on torment 3 for a set of Act 2 bounties that includes 'Kill Zoltun Kul' as a bounty

Kill Zoltun Kul then do the remaining bounties (skip any non-essential enemies and wait to finish the last enemy on some bounties until the end so that the mobs do not become too difficult before the bounties are complete)

Once the bounties are complete, claim bounty bag and max out your black smith.

Create a lv 1 character of your choosing if you wish to stop playing Necromancer and craft a lv 70 2handed Mace/Scythe/Bow and a lv 70 chest piece if you're able

From here on, go to Halls of Agony Level 3 to massacre bonus and search for visions of Enmity on torment 2-6 depending on your current stats (lower the difficulty as you get closer to level 70)

As you acquire materials from Visions of Enmity - craft a full set of sages (use 1 DB to convert 100 reusable parts to veiled crystals) and all level 70 gear to make the process easier

Use death breaths from visions of enmity to upgrade rare items (1H or 2H scythes for the Necro) in the cube to acquire a multiplier if you do not find what you need from the visions themselves

After reaching level 69 or 70, lower the difficulty to hard or expert to do bounties for acts 1,3,4 and 5 for the season journey

Complete Act 1 bounties

Complete Act 3 bounties

Complete Act 4 bounties

Complete Act 5 bounties

Open all bounty caches and learn all of the plans you received. If you did not get enough jewelry plans for the 'Just Look at You!' step of chapter 4 then complete another act of bounties.

Level Artisans to 12 and socket 5 gems, roll a socket onto a weapon, and fully equip a follower.

Kill Maltheal on Normal difficulty

Kill Azmodan on Normal difficulty

Kill Diablo on Hard difficulty

Kill Siegebreaker Assault Beast on Hard difficulty

Kill Rakanoth on Master difficulty

Kill Butcher on Torment 2 difficulty

Kill Urzael on Torment 4 difficulty

Kill all 4 Key Wardens on Torment 4 difficulty

Complete a Torment 4 rift to unlock GR 20

Complete a GR 20 solo

Season Journey is completed and you can claim your 6 piece set from Haedrigs.

Anyone have a suggested build for speedy necromancer levelling?

Hi experts,

I’m at a 100 paragon but unsure of what build to be using until I can garner all of the Masquerade set. Currently I only have 2 of the set and do not have the Haunted ammy.

I’m currently using my own corpse lance build which is ok but I feel I should be clearing rifts much quicker. I tried using the BRG new lvl 70 build but could barely kill anything. Can someone post or point me to a build that I can keep using until I do get crucial items for the Masquerade bone spear build?
