That is definitely not the common opinion. The Premier is much softer because it has way more memory foam only the classic which is the entry level is considered to be semi firm, but it’s like a six everything else is a five and below and softness by the time you get to the top tier it’s like a three. The only one that has any firmness to it is the classic, but it’s still softer than a lot of other hybrids. If you wanted to spend a little bit more, you should look at the wink bed. It’s a much higher quality mattress. It has zoned coils, better foams that actually offer more support. It’s super highly rated. The only reason I didn’t go for that one was because not only was it $1000 more than the classic hybrid from nectar but they don’t offer white glove delivery which nectar does for 200 and I needed help getting the old bad mattress and boxspring out and 150 pound adjustable frame in. So as the title says I'm conflicted between these two options, I'm a side sleeper that fluctuates between 180 and 190 lbs (83-88KG), as such tend to prefer a softer bed, has a very active job, and needs as much support as possible. As the sale ends in a day time any help is greatly appreciated!!!
I was initially dead set on the nectar Memory memory foam premier until I saw it was ideal for those with uuuuh...other needs in the bedroom. So the natural option was to go for the hybrid. And upon doing some research I found the common opinion is that the standard hybrid is actually softer than its premier version.
Does the standard nectar hybrid really come as close to feeling as memory foam like as its full foam counterparts as some reviews will have you believe? Or is there any alternatives around the same price point (UK) that suit my needs better.

Hey, good question! From what I know, the Hybrid Standard is designed to give a bit more bounce than the memory foam Premier, so it feels a little different with less sink-in but still comfy. If you like that hugging memory foam feel, the Premier might be the way to go. If you want a little more responsiveness, the hybrid could be nice. Either way, they're both solid picks
