Anyone else try the nectar pillow? I honestly didn't think I'd care about it since it came free with the mattress but it's actually not bad at all.
It's that shredded memory foam type, kinda like Coop but wayyy more stuffed at first. I had to pul out a bunch or the fill just to get it to a decent height. Before that it was like sleeping on a loaf of bread lol. Once I messed with the fill tho, it actually felt really supportive without being stiff.
One thing that stood out is how heavy it is. Like you pick it up and it doesnt feel like a pillow, more like a small handbag or something. but it does stay in place without sliding around which I kinda like.
The covers also soft and doesnt sleep hot. Just wish they removed the zippers cuz those are annoying!! If you're picky about pillows and looking at the nectar pillow, I'd say it's def worth a shot. Way better than some of the overpriced ones I've tried off Amazon.
Anyone compared it to Purple or Tempurpedics newer pillows?
in May i ordered a Nectar Lush and a original Nectar pillow. Mattress took 6 weeks to ship, thats another story all together. the pillow shipped relatively quickly.
The first pillow delivered was very clearly NOT the original nectar pillow but instead their "nectar lush pillow". the original Nectar pillow has breathable mesh on the outer case, it has a memory foam layer sewn into the outer case, and the inner core has a zipper so you can add/remove stuffing for your comfort. the Nectar Lush pillow has NONE of those features, its just a big 'ol soft shredded memory foam pillow that i don't enjoy.
The 2nd, 3rd, 4th AND FIFTH PILLOW that they sent were all exactly the same as the first. That's right, i have FIVE Nectar Lush pillows. Today was pillow #5, its almost September now for those tracking the dates in this.
When the agent went to verify that my pillow is indeed the incorrect pillow she came back with "i've been informed the pillow you received is the correct pillow". A long back and forth went on with my copy pasting the description from their very own website, none of the listed features exist. so its either the wrong pillow or false advertising (its the wrong pillow). I was then informed that due to fulfillment shortage they couldnt send me the correct pillow (i thought i had the wrong pillow?! /s). i dont mind waiting if its back ordered i just want the item i ordered but that wasn't an option. they simply gave up and refused to process my order as intended. their shitty warehouses and workers who fulfill the orders are not my problem if it keeps being fulfilled incorrectly. so i simply asked for a full refund of the item i ordered and have not received. I was offered a "$25 discount". I refused this solution as i simply want my money back for an order i never received. I dont want these 5 pillows, i'll gladly send them back on their dime. Nope, Nectar doesnt deal with "refurbished products". so after waiting another 20 minutes for refund approval, she says its approved, but "just a heads up you'll have to donate all the pillows and get proof of donation prior to the refund being issued". Funny how that wasn't mentioned once until AFTER i was presented with all my options and got the refund approved.
so i can either try to find some donation center in the midst of a global pandemic who will accept these items and provide proof of donation or eat the cost and maybe sell these pillows on craigslist or something one day...
as for the mattress, its okay. certainly not the best sleep of my life. it was better than my old worn out spring mattress but i wouldnt buy it again. definitely not going to jump through flaming hoops to return it .

I received my Nectar mattress earlier this week and rolled up in it were the two free pillows which I believe are supposed to be the premium foam pillows they sell: https://www.nectarsleep.co.uk/products/premium-foam-pillow.
I am not sure if mine are the genuine ones though as they have no official Nectar tags/labels stitched into the blue piping on the outside and the bag containing the memory foam pieces inside, doesn't have a zip allowing you to take some out for adjustment, see the photos here: https://imgur.com/a/VVNaVqJ.
The only labels are inside the pillow case and on the bag of foam. With all the cases of people being sent "alternative" accessories than what they ordered or thought they were getting, I'm wondering if that is the case with the pillows?
I'm curious if other people felt the same way as me about Nectar’s new memory foam pillow. Here's my thoughts:
The pillow itself is super soft. You can tell it's higher quality than most others I found at costco. I like my pillows with a bit of support so my neck doesn't just cut right through it and this one does the trick.
My only gripe with the pillow is these damn zippers! Why would they put zippers(and two of them) on a freaking pillow?
Overall I'd give the pillow a 10/10 if they removed the dumb zippers.
Anyone else share my experience with the nectar pillow?
I bought the cooling pillow by Nectar from Costco. I like it flat when I unzip the side. The problem is that I can’t find a pillow cover wide enough to keep that flat shape. It seems that all pillows are 20” wide. It makes the pillow higher by squeezing in the sides and narrowing it. Any recommendations on a wide pillow? I can’t seem to find any.
My nectar mattress along with 2 pillows came in today. The mattress is fine however the pillows are garbage, their flat and feel very cheap and look different from the pillows online because my pillows don’t have lines going through them like I see in videos. This is so frustrating since the pillows were a big factor in me purchasing this mattress. Does anyone else have this issue? I wish I could send pictures but this sub won’t allow me.
When I bought my Nectar in 2018, it came with these 2 AMAZING pillows (pictured) for free. They’re adjustable so you can pull out some of the shredded memory foam to make it less firm or add more to make it more firm.
I cannot overstate how much I love these pillows. The bed is good, sure. But I feel I spent my $600 on these pillows and they came with a free mattress rather than the other way around. I don’t even travel without them. They go on every single vacation and overnight trip with me. When I die, I want my Nectar pillow in my coffin gently propping my head up at the perfect angle.
I decided I should probably get some more since I get so much use out of them, but it looks like Nectar has a different pillow now (the tri comfort that zips to change the firmness). I am not ready to give up my perfect pillows and the new pillows have iffy reviews anyway.
Does anyone know where to find the original Nectar pillows? Or at the very least a suitable dupe? I’ve found a few adjustable memory foam pillows on amazon but I’m worried none of them will be as good as these ones. Anyone got any first hand comparisons?
Pleeease help.
Okay so this might be a weird one... but has anyone ever wondered what's actually inside the Nectar Tri-Comfort Pillow? I was lying in bed the other night not sleeping (kinda ironic I know) and I kept dreaming about what's packed inside these pillows that makes them feel the way they do.
Well... curiosity won. I had an old Nectar Pillow that was chilling in my closet so I decided to fill on autopsy it. Not even sorry.
Behold: the inside of a Nectar Tri Comfort Pillow
(Posting pics to this post, fair warning it's slightly pillow-gore but also oddly satisfying)
What surprised me the most was how substantial the layers are. its not just fluff. this thing is ENGINEERED. I always thought it was just another memory foam pillow but now I feel like its actually a mattress in pillow form.
I feel like this Nectar Pillow really does live up to the "Tri-Comfort" name after seeing what's inside. Kinda gross... but also kinda makes sense why my partner stole my other one.
Happy to upload more pics or answer any Qs if you're weirdly into pillow crosssections like I am lol
My friend just bought a Nectar mattress and said it was so comfy. I want a full and the website says it’s $799 and that includes the mattress, two pillows, a sheet set, and mattress protector. Is it worth the money? Also I never had a memory foam mattress and idk how I’ll feel about it
I am moving across the country and purchased a Nectar mattress that came with the pillows. I don't want to open the box before I get to my new place but I only received one box. Do the pillows ship in the same box as the mattress?
I purchased this pillow from Nectar Sleep: https://www.nectarsleep.com/resident-pillowsUnfortunately it didn't work out for me, I am a side sleeper and found that it didn't offer enough support. If you are a back sleeper and would like a nice new pillow it's all yours. They refunded me but I guess they can't legally re-sell it, so they told me to "dispose of it" - seems like a waste! It's all yours if you'd like it - pickup will be in the Pearl District.
I have been looking for a pillow for the past two years that will help me to sleep comfortably. I got a pillow from Boll & Branch about four months ago or more and at first it was great but now it is uncomfortable. I have a total of four pillows, but all of them leave me tossing and turning at night and waking up with a stiff neck. I am sick and tired of returning pillows from kohls and Amazon after trying them out and them not working. does anybody have any recommendations? I prefer them on the medium/soft side instead of rockhard.
Back in March I stayed at an Airbnb where I legitimately experienced the best sleep of my life. Typically, I wake up several times a night, every night, whenever I stay at hotels/Airbnbs. I didn't wake up one time in 3 nights on this mattress, which ended up being a Nectar. Our mattress at home only causes me grief and is old enough to get it's license, so I've been ready to part ways with it for a while.
I was 100% dead set on buying a Nectar mattress before I came across this sub and saw all the negative reviews. But I'm having a hard time letting go of it because I did sleep on it for several days, so I know it was comfortable to me, whereas going to a mattress store and lying on a bed for a little while doesn't tell me how it's going to feel after several nights.
So is there anyone here who bought one and still loves it after having it for a while? Thanks in advance!
I recently picked up the Egyptian cotton sheets that are on sale and I was surprised at how great the quality was. Now I need to pick up some king size pillows, what are the best ones you’ve purchased at Costco.
I slept on this pillow at my SIL’s place and absolutely loved it. It is quite firm and feels like maybe some kind of memory foam. Unfortunately she can’t remember what brand it is, and there is no tag on the pillow. I’d love to purchase one for myself if I can figure out where it came from. Thank you in advance!
We recently made a huge mistake and bought a sealy tighttop 1000 coil mattress and it stiff as board. Awful. The worst part is going to return it we nicked the bottom and ripped it 😭.
Anyway enough of that, now i cant sleep on it for much longer so i need a mattress topper or a new bed . Im pregnant and my back is dying already from the plywood bed lol.
Is nector good? Are u a real person or a nectar employee 🤣🤣🤣 the reviews almost seem too good to be true whilst so much hate is out there?
ALSO, how long have u had your bed? Anyone here have it for 8+ years?
AALSOOOOO, does it have fiberglass? It seems like there is misleading info out there
Thank u
Let me know!
