Long story short - my 10-year-old Paramount memory foam mattress is sagging in the middle and is likely causing a pinched nerve in my right leg. Not fun. I need to replace it ASAP.
After doing some reading and watching some videos showcasing and critiquing the mattress, I decided that this one was my best option. I visited a local home appliance store so I could get a feel for it first. It was super comfortable compared to what I'm sleeping on now. The firmness felt perfect for what I need. That sold me.
After paying for the mattress and scheduling the delivery for this weekend, I came to Reddit. Everybody here hates Nectar.
Of course, one of the primary complaints is dealing with their customer service, which is a bullet I will be dodging having bought through a retailer. The main concern is the use of fiberglass inside the mattress. I've read some conflicting information, as there is some belief that Nectar may no longer be using fiberglass. If that is the case, then I think I'll be fine with the mattress.
If not... I don't know what to do. I do have the option to cancel before delivery this weekend. I'm a super cautious person by nature and don't want to deal with any fiberglass leaks. I would also prefer to not have another mattress that starts sagging on me after a few years, which is another complaint I have read about Nectar.
It's a little sketchy that they lied about their products being made in the USA, but that won't necessarily affect my experience so I'm not too concerned.
Any input for me, specifically about the newer line of Nectar hybrids?
