I get what you guys are talking about re: fast fashion and all the China Temu, Shein, knockoffs, where they basically rip off designers looks and re-create it - super low quality. They are always the ones with the annoying pop up adds where every model's head is chopped off in the pic or is of an obviously over photo shopped person of someone (think 13"waist lol) taking a selfie where they super impose the garments onto the pic - you guys know the ones. And the identical items are sold under different brands (it's basically all drop-ship junk with messed up China sizing to boot) I do however know tho that Macy's carries Edikted brand clothing, Nordstrom might as well. Anyway I was curious about all this so as an experiment I decided to investigate and order a few items (enough for free ship) and because they have a standard free returns/exchange policy. If anyone is interested let me know and I'll try to report back for you guys as to whether it was all total junk or if there were any decent items or basic staple pieces for the price. I expect it to be kinda hit or miss. Personally, I'll load up on tank tops or buy a sweatshirt or whatnot from Old Navy but I would generally never shop there for more "serious clothing". Sadly the fast fashion craze today is basically just churned out and such poor quality, unlined garments, poorly sewn, look/feel cheap. It's become a marketing frenzy geared towards teenage consumers or early 20 somethings who buy "lots of clothes" to be "on trend" from shops like H&M, Forever 21 etc. where nothing is made to last long or are "timeless wardrobe pieces". What many may not even realize is how much of all this fast fashion today is winding up in illegal landfills in Chile or washes up on the shores of places like Ghana and is destroying the environment. I generally try to stick only to things that will hold up, I know I'll get use out of and are not a 5 minute hot trend or something you'd be too embarrassed to wear in a year or two (corny graphic tees come to mind) those should be outlawed by now!

Honestly i was expecting shein quality and i was verryyy pleasantly surpised. The fact that the shop has 80% or 50% sales every other day definitely threw me off but the clothes were pretty good quality and fit great and i loved everything so i definitely reccomend

I've purchased several items from them. Loved a few items but the majority were too sheer/ too thin. Tops run small, shorts run small, pants run true to size. Recently i'm having a problem with a return. I returned 5 items but they're only showing I returned three. It's frustrating. They have no live chat or phone number. After six emails this is still not resolved. I do think their clothing is cute but overpriced. They have a 50 to 80% off sale nearly every other week.If not every week. Don't make the mistake of paying full price. They seem to have nearly endless inventory so wait for the sale.

On 7/12/2025, I placed an online order with Edikted for 9 sweaters and sweatshirts. I received a package from Edikted on 7/16/2025, and the tracking email and image of the delivery said all 9 items were in the one package. I gave the package as a gift to my daughter on 8/19/2025, and when she opened the package, there were only 5 instead of 9 items.

Has anyone noticed how edikted is always on sale and its been the same prices for like a year and ive never seen any of the items go back to its original price so like wtf, i feel like they r trying to make ppl buy them instantly cause of. how good the price is but really the original price is there disguised as a sale

Usually it's a marketing trick to make you think you are getting a deal when in fact you are not, it's really only fast fashion brands who do it, but honestly there's sadly not much difference in quality in normal clothing stores and fast fashion stores, I wish there was

i completely agree, i started off like 2 years ago thinking their clothes were so cute.. but now everyone has the same exact tops/pants/shorts… just bc we all know they saw that $15 shirt and bought it. it’s just overworn and ugly i refuse to shop there now. my sorority did a sponsorship for them and we got free clothes and modeled them, they ended up using one of my pics on their website. i hate the clothes i have from them now😭

They only go down to an XS but they seem like the sizes would run small so I’m wondering if it’ll fit.
For context I have 22 in waist, small hips/bust, and am pretty short.

i bought 2 mini skirts and they were awful, I have 23.5 waist and 34 hips and i looked like i was floating in them. I made my mom who is normally a M and quite tall try them and they fit perfectly like a micro skirt. Wouldn’t recommend

i actually just bought from them to test this out lol, i'm also short with the same waist size and the bottoms i bought (a denim mini skirt and jeans) were too big unfortunately so i'm returning those. the only things that i got that fit were the tops made of material like their tay long sleeve because those tend to run slightly smaller and stretch to fit you so they can accommodate more sizes from my experience (if that makes sense) so i liked how those look on me but i feel like their xs doesn't run small overall just for those kinds of items. i have to return most of my order so idk if i would order anything else again tbh

Just in my own experience:
Princess Polly and Edikted are ok quality.
SHEIN can either be surprisingly not bad or god awful
PrettyLittleThing could not be worse (quality, fit, etc).
White Fox can be good (take "good" with a grain of salt, ofc)
Cider is on par with the better parts of SHEIN Would love to know what you guys think (especially good/cheaper ones). Personally wondering about BabyBoo, Sabo Skirt, Oh Polly, Hello Molly, PepperMayo, etc etc.
edit: im a piss poor broke college student that wants to find a dress for a party I have. sorry im not in a position to save the word right now, but all the reddit comments youre spamming will definitely do the job. good work guys

My opinion is that all of those are unethical brands that make vast amounts of pollution and rely on exploited people (mostly women) to make low-quality disposable clothes. They should be illegal.

My “opinion” based on industry knowledge is that 99% of them are dropshipped toxic (literally) and polluting (literally) fast fashion pieces of crap clothing that all comes from the same exploitative factories and suppliers. Any kind of comparison like this seeks to legitimise them and their predatory business models.
