A bunch of HNN with wither skeleton predictions and antimatter from Mekanism. Each wither skeleton prediction gives you 3 skulls (3.5 if you choose the fragments and autocraft into skulls). Mekanism can turn 1 wither skeleton skull into 1 inert netherstar, then turned into 16 inert netherstars, and finally into 16 netherstars. There's also Blood Magic's mark of the falling tower, 1 netherstar 1x block and 7.5 million LP gets you about 1.5 stacks of blocks (81 netherstars -> over 9 stacks of stars).

Killing 81 Withers just for the first layers? That's mad. It would promote auto mob farms which is against Mojang's philosophy.

You can get soul sand from chickens and wither skulls from mystical agriculture. You can then feed them into a wither builder from industrial foregoing and kill the withers using the draconic evolution mob grinder. Alternatively, you could just make nether star crops - but those are super endgame.

Not mentioned yet but alternately you could build a Woot farm. You will still need to feed it Soul Sand and Wither Skulls.

This block would be great as a trophy due to its extreme cost and due to its unbreakable but pushable status would be very useful for the technical player in the construction of movable (and unmovable) wither cages, amongst other uses. I know that Wither cages are generally unpopular due to how imbalanced they can be, but I think we can all agree that a cage that costs over a stack of Nether stars to construct even for an unstable cage is fair.

It isn't just unbalanced, it would be an exploit (I'm assuming this cage traps the wither and makes the fight one-sided). It doesn't matter how much it costs, it would still just be an exploit.

I love the name and love the function. I just don’t like the texture at all. I’m sure it’s just an example but if they did add a Nether Star block, I don’t care what it looks like as long as it’s animated with an amazing texture and extremely bright. (Light emitting radius possibly 32 or even 64.)
You should also be able to build the Beacon out of it. If you by some ungodly means get a max Beacon with just those blocks, you should get all positive buffs at their peak power. Basically rendering you a god when in range of that beacon.

Going into the Nether, locating a Nether fortress, and then slaying a load of wither skeletons are just the start of your journey.
