New era needs to understand they live or die by the 59fifty
New Era 59fifty hat size question - Off-Topic Forum - Brewer Fanatic
59fifty size change?
Classic 59Fifty Black New Era in 8 3/4 size
To my knowledge, 59Fifties are only mass produced up to size 8.
You might try the largest size on this site. I don't know enough to vouch for/against them
More on reddit.comIt should be apparent to everyone that the quality of fitted 59fifty caps have substantially plummeted in recent years. They almost now borderline have stretchable fabric on them now. And this is something they've implemented since the 2023 MLB postseason caps that they saw they could profit massively by while substantially cutting production costs. Thus, the CEO and investors believed they could continue to keep production costs low and charge the same price for what was once a great hat. The ironic thing about it is; do these morons not realize that their company lives or dies by their fitted caps? Every major sports organization, especially the MLB orders them in masse because of their ~$40 price tag, providing good profit margins for any deal new era provides with them. However, they are loosing a lot of customers of their, really, only profitable item that they sell to 47' specifically because if it's not the 59fifty, adjustable bent brimmed hats are garbage from new era. It's kind of brain dead new era is willing to tank themselves just to cut production costs down and pocket a few extra nickels in the short run. Anyways that's my rant for the day. Boycott this garbage ass company.
I have a Phillies low profile cap from 2022 in 7 3/8 and I picked up one of the new armed forces day caps in the same size but it feels super tight on the dome. I’m sure some stretching occurred over the last year and a half but has anyone else noticed a change in size?
