I recently got back into it after quitting maybe 6 months after the initial release in 2021. Game is legitimately good, if Nighthaven is above average in what it's promising then I think New World is going to become a big MMO contender (again). More on reddit.com

What exactly is supposed to be the problem with New World?
It’s a fun game with a super shallow endgame and undeniably broken pvp. Most of the folks with complaints (like myself) have hundreds of hours played - the first few dozen of which most of us loved. It’s a blast to play up to level cap and explore the world, and $15 to experience it is a steal imho. Enjoy! More on reddit.com
