I’m thinking of getting a new pc and I’m curious what companies on Newegg are reliable

I was checking it would and wanted to know if they are trusted since I don’t know much about computers.
I was looking to buy a pc for the holidays probably for opening a lot of tabs on multiple monitors for trading and streaming budget is 900$ usd and I saw this https://www.newegg.com/p/83-630-061?Item=83-630-061&cm_sp=product-_-from-price-options is this legit or ?
My very good friend of 30 years, the kind of friend who would let you wear his skin for Halloween, gets Newegg gift cards from his family & has about $600 worth at this point. He needs a new PC to play the latest games. Here are his requirements:
*must be from Newegg
*must be a pre-built. Life's too short to build & be your own tech support
*total must not exceed $1300 including gift cards
*to pair with an existing 1080p ultrawide (LG 34WL500-B)
*would like to buy within a month, does not want to buy Trump shoes instead
This was my best find, but sadly I'm not a gamer:

Thanks in advance to anyone who reads this with suggestions!
I’m looking to buy ABS Stratos Aqua High Performance Gaming PC - Intel i7 13700KF - GeForce RTX 4070 Ti - 16GB DDR5 5600MHz - 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD - SA137KF470TI
The price is 2900 CAD
Can I trust this company? Are there any reliable options in the Canadian market?
Has anyone seen any deals that stand out a lot on Newegg? I’m a noob with PC part pricing so I was wondering what are some good deals you guys have seen recently.
What are the best companies to buy a prebuilt gaming pc from on Newegg or anywhere in general? I have a budget of about $1,500 and want the best prebuilt I can get from it. Please don’t tell me that I should just build it myself.

I was looking into buying a new PC however I realized that almost all the games I want to play, such as Minecraft/Portal Knights/CSGO/Wow and indie games can practically run on a potato

This is a 700$ machine with a GTX 950, I'd like to get some insight on weather or not this would be a good buy for someone like me who doesn't want to play the higher end games.
I wouldn't advise it. The model of power supply is not explicitly specified, something that I hate about prebuilts, nor is the board partner, which I always see as odd. You can definately do better. Below is a build that's slightly more, but will have better performance in gaming workloads.

Hey, as someone who got a pre-built, and returned it when I realized a build was easy as hell, and gets you tons more performance, just do it yourself. Please.
I'm not a super technically inclined person at all, but if you can turn a screwdriver and watch a YouTube video, you can build a PC. It's actually really fun to know what all the parts are and how to assemble them.
I've found a pretty good deal on a Skytech prebuilt from Newegg and it seems almost perfect. I've never bought from Newegg before, and I've heard some bad things about them. Just don't want to drop $1800 on a faulty product. How is their repair/return policy in 2023? Are they realiable? Thank you.
Here's the PC I was looking at -> https://www.newegg.com/skytech-st-azure2-0560-b-ne/p/3D5-000Z-000X4?Item=3D5-000Z-000X4
Hey everyone, I am a high school esports coach looking to buy 4 PCs (already have one) so that my growing team can compete in R6 as well as Overwatch. We are a small school and have limited funds so making our dollar stretch while also getting PCs that will get the job done is my main goal right now (I admit it may be unrealistic but hey I gotta try so that these kids and the program gets the best that I can provide).
I was looking at builds and found some deal on Newegg and wanted the masses opinion on what the “catch” is behind this build I found (I have included a picture of the exact one I am talking about).
When looking at price and performance, this would do the job for sure. But I just don’t want to jump on something just because it seems like a good idea. Let me know what you guys truly think and especially any experiences you have had with buying something like this.
Thank you!
this the computer I was thinking of buying around when Christmas time comes but then I looked neweggs rating online as business and it s this what do y'all think
Ordered a Prebuilt PC from ABS (Advanced Battlestations) earlier this month. Next day air. It was late, but they refunded me the shipping cost at least. Next issue, there's no PC in the box. Just a bunch of filling and what seems to have held the PC in place. I reach out to NewEgg's claims team, only for them to deny my claim of a missing product a week later. I try filing again, same thing, this time a few days later. I've since reported this issue to the BBB, but just putting it out there for others to beware.
I'm down just over 1K for this forsaken PC that NewEgg adamantly refuses to take responsibility for.
Edit V2: I had initially added in an edit on what I thought occurred shortly after communicating with the support account here on Reddit (my claim being cancelled right before being told it was being looked into). I was informed that they in fact had no part in cancelling my claim, and it was actually cancelled by their claims team in order to review my previously denied claims with their BBB team. Revising accordingly. Still an issue, however, two weeks in without any accountability or resolution on NewEgg's part as of right now.
Edit V3: They have since responded to my BBB complaint with the same "Well, we shipped it out of our warehouse fine, and UPS said the delivery was fine" nonsense that doesn't actually involve any sort of resolution. Whether or not they feel they need to take responsibility, I'm putting this out there. DO NOT BUY NewEgg prebuilds. Or spend more than 1k, only for them to deny all responsibility once it's lost. Read up on their ToC.
They specifically list ANY responsibility of the purchased item lies with the buyer AS SOON as the item is handed of to the carrier, and not actually delivered. Which means the item can not even reach you, and they can say "Well, we definitely shipped it" and deny you any sort of compensation.
You'll see their own employees going around posting fake "Appreciation for the support team" posts on here to boost their own public standing, while simultaneously downvoting any negative post without any resolution. Watch out for these posts, they scream "corporate"
So, usually on PcPartPickers, I see lots of recommendations to order PC from Newegg. However, I never used it before and don't know how safe it is compared to amazon. Is Newegg trustable as much as Amazon in terms of privacy and shipping? Right now, I'm thinking of purchasing King 95 Pro at Newegg due to it being it on Black Friday sales.
First time buying a Prebuilt and thought something was weird about the fractal box but I thought they must have ran out of boxes or something. Started taking the PC out and realized this is way too light. I guess someone got a PC instead of a case 🤣
Used to be big into computers haven’t been for over 10 years. I was looking at NXZT but can’t justify 700 for a 10 year old getting into gaming. Obviously if he enjoys it. A couple years later can get something nicer.
Wife wants RGB to match his room.
Looking at Newegg there’s some sketchy looking Chinese models and brands so not sure.
On March 16th I was gifted this computer by my mother for my birthday and initially it said it was on back order until 3/28. Fine, I can wait. When that date comes around I start checking the order status, and it’s pushed back again to around 4/15. Fine, I can wait. That day rolls around and I check again, back ordered to 5/5.
Now it’s becoming an issue because I was moving out of my apartment 5/15 so I tried to call them to change the order location and they said they can’t do that until it’s already out for delivery…. WTF???? So I asked them “so I basically have to check every single day to snipe it before it reaches transit and then I have to call you and have you change it?” NE Rep: “yes, we’re sorry for the inconvenience”. Me: “but you’re closed weekends, what if it’s out for delivery and in transit before then?”. NE Rep: “unfortunately if that happens we are unable to change the delivery address, contact us first thing on Monday and we can try to process an address change if there is still time”. DOUBLE WTF.
So I’ve moved out and checked it every day, only to find now that the order number is no longer valid, and my mom got an email saying they canceled the order on 5/29. In the meantime of this process my graphics card on the old pc broke around 4/25 so I’ve just been waiting, not wanting to buy a replacement as I know this one was coming soon. So now I’m SOL wasted 2 months, and models with similar parts now seem to be 3-400$ more than when I was looking likely due to President Orange Man’s dumb ass tariffs.
In summary, fuck NewEgg.
