Hi!
I've been wanting to purchase a budget laptop for awhile now since I'll be enrolling into a program that requires Windows rather than Mac.
I saw that Newegg offers a refurbished laptop for under $300, but I'm hesitant to buy it as I'm seeing a lot of bad reviews about their products especially with scams and third party sellers.
The item I want to buy says it is sold and shipped by Newegg and I saw a lot of comments in other threads saying it is safe as long as the item says that.
So I wanted to know if it is worth purchasing the item from Newegg considering that it is refurbished and sold/shipped from Newegg.
I appreciate any guidance!

NewEgg Refurbished. Anyone have any experience? | Tom's Hardware Forum
Is it safe to purchase a refurbished item?
Should i buy newegg refurbished product
That is up to you. I've had good luck with refurbished products. If I buy refurbished it has to be something that's usually quite expensive but that gets discounted heavily, it's no use buying refurbished if you don't save much money obviously.
