When does Cyber Monday end?
Most Cyber Monday sales end at midnight on Dec. 2, but there are exceptions. Amazon sales usually run until midnight on the West Coast, giving shoppers on the East Coast a few extra hours to shop. However, Walmart's 24-hour only sale ends promptly at midnight ET. Target and Best Buy's sales end Dec. 1; however, shoppers at the Home Depot have until Dec. 3 to shop.
When does Black Friday end?
Black Friday technically ends at the stroke of midnight on Saturday, Nov. 29. So, some deals may go away at that time. However, most retailers, including Amazon and Walmart, will run their Black Friday deals through the end of Cyber Monday on Dec. 1. Our advice is to check out as soon as possible, though, so that the deals you were hoping to score don't disappear on you.
I thought the black friday deals continued until monday, and didnt have a lot of time until then, so I waited until monday, only to see most the games I wanted had already gone up $10+ each. Now, they've gone up even more, back to regular prices.
How long will I have to wait for the prices to go back down to black friday prices? Specifically, PES 2018 for $30 or less, Horizon Zero Dawn for $20 or less, Bloodborne for $15 or less. Those are the main PS4 games I was interested in. Then AC Origins for $30 on PC, Nioh as well. As for any other PC games, I didnt even have time to go through steam, humble blundle, and GOG and see what all they had. I know Sanctum 2 was free, but didnt have time to set up a humblebundle account. No idea what else was out there. When will PC prices go back down to black friday prices? I'm hoping for Christmas? Or at least right after Christmas? Or am I going to have to wait for next black friday LOL?
(OT, also wondering when HDTVs will go back on sale to black friday degree).
I spent the last four days stressing over deals, refreshing pages, and convincing myself I needed all this stuff because it was 20% off.
Now that the sales are over, all that dopamine to buy is gone.
I'm just sitting here looking at my bank account realizing I spent way too much on gadgets that are going to end up in my junk drawer by January.
The urgency marketing wears off so fast. It really is just an addiction loop designed to reel you in and keep you hooked until you've wasted your money.
I unsubscribed from every single marketing email this morning, and I've got my VPN running 24/7 to stop the retargeting ads from following me around. If I don't see the ads, I won't buy the junk.
Why is it legal to manipulate our psychology like this? It feels so scummy.
