They release their next sales ads on Fridays, so I usually wait until I look at those to order stuff just in case what I want will be going on sale!

I'm participating in my city's garage sale next month and will be selling most of my daughter's clothes from 0-5T. Yes, I know I could give them away on Buy Nothing, or donate to Goodwill, but this is what I've decided to do. I'm not really planning on making money from this, just want it all to go, but I also don't want someone to come in and just grab all of it, if that makes sense.

Anyways, if you've shopped at garage sales for kids clothes, what are the going rates near you? I don't want to price mine too low (I was thinking 25c/piece, which might be crazy low), but again don't need to profit.

Where I live, people usually have plastic grocery bags next to bins of clothes and let people fill the bag for $5ish. People also sell nicer sets like pants/shirts or dress/leggings with a jacket for $1-3.

25 cents is good for a onesie. You can probably charge a little more ($1-$10) for a complete outfit or for things like winter outerwear. Used big kids clothes in decent condition can go for a little more too. The one thing that drives me crazy is when parents try to sell very worn or stained clothes for the same price I could get a new item on sale at somewhere like Target or Old Navy - as long as you avoid that you should be good. The last garage sale I did I priced things to move and had a “free” pile for the worn or stained things that were still useable but not worth selling.
