March 21, 2023 - But those 2023 ASG sweaters appear to be the final RR jersey release as ESPN’s Greg Wyshynski is reporting the program is being vaulted after the league signed a 10-year agreement with Fanatics. NHL executive vice president of marketing Brian Jennings told Wyshynski that the Reverse Retro program was inspired by “limited drops or a scarcity model.” Items selling out fast create more urgency among fans to buy while the coronavirus pandemic created legitimate supply chain issues.

October 20, 2023 - Adidas and the NHL will no longer be partnering on jerseys following the 2023-24 season as Fanatics will enter the fold, which means the Adidas “Reverse Retro” program is officially done.

The Reverse Retro uniform program will not continue into 2023-24, and with the change from Adidas to Fanatics next season, it may be gone for good. It will likely be replaced with whatever Fanatics comes up with when it’s their time.

November 4, 2022 - Philadelphia Flyers – we should rank the Flyers higher for the fact that they will be donning cooperalls for practices on reverse retro jersey nights. Flyers jerseys are always cool and their classic logo is front and center like it should be. #20. Montreal Canadiens – Based off of the Habs 1979 jersey this one appears to pay homage to the Montreal Expos withe the choice of blue. ESPN ranked this one number three on their list. Guess those folks are big fans of the Expos. #19. Dallas Stars – like many, we’ve always said that the NHL needs more green.

Columbus Blue Jackets (2000): This design features the Blue Jackets' original logo on the team's first primarily red jersey. Dallas Stars (1999): The Reverse Retro is an icy-white take on the jersey the Stars wore when they won the Stanley Cup.
