September 19, 2025 - The company originally started in Nichiha Japan in the mid 1950s. As they expanded, they started a manufacturing operation in Macon, Georgia in 1998 and have been serving the American market ever since. They produce a variety of products which are all made with their version of fiber cement and all carry the Nichiha name (in much the same way as James Hardie products do).
