Same here with it showing approved. Checked earlier this AM (before 7am) and no change. Checked again for whatever reason and has been approved with 3.11 direct deposit day! Congrats to the others who got same news 😊 More on reddit.com

OMG! So this is the information I'm always searching online for and I'm literally in the same boat regarding similar submission and acceptance dates as the OP, and received my federal weeks ago, with state just stick on processing, driving me crazy! March 15, 2025NJ state tax return STILL pending?
I made a post about this months ago … you have to email them . I never received a letter from them AT ALL! I emailed them and they did take awhile to respond about almost a month but they told me I had to send in proof of stuff .. then it took another 3 months to get my refund I just got it a few days ago.

Update 3/9/25: It has shown up as “pending” in my bank account until 3/11/25.
Update 3/6/25: finally updated and accepted. Claims it’ll be deposited on 3/11…. But “may take up to 5 days”. Not holding my breath.
Update as of 3/4/25: It STILL says "processing".. Hasn't even gotten to the "checking for accuracy" tab yet.
Has anyone else who has used Freetaxusa found that their state return took well over the estimated 4 weeks? I logged in and it STILL says processing…. I understand the state of NJ is shoddy, greedy and slow… but when I’ve used turbo tax in the past, it never took as long as it’s taking with free tax USA. I doubt whatever system I used matters and it’s entirely the state..:: But I was just curious if anyone else had this issue?

So funny how they just lie on the NJ main website. Literally nobody has gotten their money yet. I've heard people say they got a direct deposit date of the 6th but not seen any images on any social media to prove that. But on the NJ website it says they have begun issuing refunds. Where it used to say they would begin on March 1 so they are legit updating the site but nobody got money yet. Or even approved on wmr as far as I can tell. Nutty. Hate this state sometimes. With things like this.
