guys my laptop had water damage and I suppose SSD and hard drive were damaged too. however, I gave it to zipcare extended warranty and they repaired it (idk if ssd and hard drive were actually damaged). sometimes my windows 11 acer 11th gen boots fine, but sometimes it says no bootable device found upon starting. ANY SUGGESTION WELCOMED. THANKSS
Hi, I’m Nicole, I’ll be happy to help you out today.
It might be that the boot menu is disable on your BIOS settings.
To check turn ON the device, as soon you hit the power button start pressing f2 key on your keyboard. once you access BIOS settings use your arrow key to choose the option, go to Main settings check if the f12 boot menu is disable or enable. if it was disable press enter on f12 boot menu to enable it. next is go to boot settings. press enter on Boot mode check if it was on EUFI or on Legacy.
Choose legacy if it was on EUFI. then go to exit and hit exit and saved changes. wait for 5 to 10 seconds and your laptop will restart on its own. after that check if the issue will still appear or not.Update me how it goes thank you.
I wasn't able to change EUFI so I pressed f12 but there wasn't anything too , i couldn't change options there too .
