With this crazy inflation on groceries, i've been forced to downgrade from Loblaws to No Frills. I get PC points so im looking to stay within this brand.
What's everyones opinions on the best No Frills in the city?
Personally I think Mike's No Frills at Dundas and Landsdowne is the best, and Carlo's up at Yonge and Steeles. They both have fresh fish and pharmacies and other things most No Frills don't.
But even with a car, these are quite far from me (Davisville Village) anyone know of any other No Frills they think are the best in the city?

3 years here and still struggling to find a good, no frills, doesn’t-charge-you-$120-per-visit barber in downtown Chicago. Only exaggerating a little.

Went to aveda in lakeshore east park. $110 for a simple crew cut standard, while the lady tells me “you have difficult hair” (I’m ethnic)
Went to Floyd’s barbershop. $65. Mileage varies depending on who cuts your hair. Had a good lady for a while, she left. The next one I tried was super high while cutting my hair. Like she was tripping, not kidding. Hair cut was not good. Gave me her usual haircut when I just wanted a simple crew cut. I did tell her that but she did not care.
Went to (I think it was called) gentleman’s haircut. $120. Lady made a face the whole time cutting my hair. I don’t know if it’s because I’m ethnic and she’s used to rich white folks going there.
In contrast, I was visiting Atlanta and there was this place called eclectic haircut near Georgia Tech and it was so chill, a bunch of bros just joking around and giving the best haircuts. I was so comfortable there and it only cost $50 or so. Same when I was visiting Nashville.
Are there any barbers in downtown Chicago that are not too uppity, reasonably priced, good with ethnic people, and do good crew cut haircuts?
Barbershops in downtown Chicago are turning into too much of a hipster coffee shop experience, high prices for uncaring attitude and subpar service and coffee.
Edit: adding that I asked for downtown since I live here without a car. But happy to venture outside to other areas if I can get there by CTA trains
