Hi guys
i just recently install windows 11 and I cant play valorant. it says that I have to enable secure boot . Then, to enable secure boot i have to disable CSM . when i try to disable CSM, save it and exit, the CSM setting is back to enable.
i have a gigabyte motherboard and both my disks' partitions is gpt.

Open the BIOS and go to the Advanced mode Under [settings] menu enable [AMD CPU FTPM] - (if you have an AMD CPU) Under [Boot] Menu Disable CSM Support then you will see a new option down called Secure Boot Open [Secure Boot] and change it to (Enabled) if it was set to (Disabled) then click [Secure Boot mode] and change it to (Standard) - and I like to mention that if you find [Secure Boot mode] is set to (Standard) already, change it to (Custom) and then change it to (Standard) again, that will reset the Standard mode to make sure that you won't have an issue that Secure Boot State is still OFF after Enabling in BIOS which I had and that fixed it - Then hit F10 or [Save and Exit] and restart your pc ... open [System Information] on Windows and check the [Secure Boot State].

how is the hard rive formatted? IIRC, you need to have the drive formatted for a specific format, GPT i think. If you have MBR as your drive format, it wont work. Had the same problem myself.

October 13, 2025 - If Secure Boot is enabled but shows as "Not Active," change Secure Boot Mode to Custom. Go to Key Management (or Expert Key Management). Select Restore Factory Keys and confirm by choosing Yes when prompted.

I’ve tried enabling secure boot for Valorant after enabling trusted computer and disabling CSM but it turned out to a black screen. When switching the HDMI to my motherboard I can go into the motherboard but whenever I disable secure boot and saves the current config, it keeps popping the error message and running straight into the BIOS and secure boot shows enabled again, does anyone know how to fix it? Btw it’s an Aorus motherboard, I can look for the model if it helps
SOLUTION!: I had to remove all components (GPU, SSD, HDD, etc.) and just by keeping CPU (with integrated iGPU) + RAM I was able to reset the secure boot to disable and save it properly - avoiding this boot loop issue that many have

There's always confusion between secure boot (called for in some games) and UEFI boot which is CSM disabled and needs a GPT format boot drive The secure boot options wont appear until CSM is disabled. There's a BIOS glitch on some GB m/b that shows secure boot as enabled but when you get into Windows its not actually enabled Disabling CSM can cause issues if the GPU isnt compliant or the the boot drive isnt GPT but a CMOS reset can fix this But a more serious issue is changing secure boot settings the wrong way - this can brick the m/b sometimes --- So first disable CSM - but this needs a GPT format boot drive otherwise it wont boot into Windows and a UEFI compliant GPU - so its possible your issue is having a MBR format boot drive Then when you have it booting OK with CSM disabled - if you want secure boot and its in mode:setup toggle standard to custom, custom to standard accepting factory defaults, and then enable secure boot

Update: I've tried everything to revert the secure boot, even flashing the BIOS with a previous verion and upgrading it to a newer one, same issue: secure boot violation, invalidad signature - I have no idea what else to try
