Has anyone tried this case? Thoughts? Has anyone used this case and had their phone damaged while using it? One of my phones had what I thought was a beefy protective case from Casetify on it and the entire back glass shattered after one of its falls. Now I am skeptical of cases. I don’t think just good edge protection is enough. Been looking at the Nomad Rugged case, but would love to hear if any of you incurred damage while using it.

I like mine a lot. It’s a solid case - well insulated and feels solid. No squeaks, and the phone is not going to fall out in a fall. Nice raised edges to protect the screen, and I like the raised edges on the back so it doesn’t wobble. The camera button gap isn’t the best feature, but I don’t really use the button much anyway.

I did but returned it. I don’t like how they did the cutout for the Camera Control, it sits a little too deep since the bumper area widens the phone a good amount

It has removed a sort of sloped hill from the edge of the case leaving the entire area where the Camera Control button resides uncovered and accessible. This might immediately turn folks off who would prefer complete coverage, and understandably so, but not me. Again, I’m a huge fan. It allows the golden Desert Titanium of my iPhone 16 Pro to shine through, leaves the Camera Control button completely accessible and functional, and I’m not the type to need or want an overly cumbersome or protective case.

Once again, much like the Nomad Traditional Leather case I reviewed, it looks just gorgeous against Apple’s Desert treatment.

I really like the look of this case but i keep reading that the lip around the screen is not tall enough and the fit tends to be loose. Is it really that bad? I don't want my screen protector touch the surface of the table when place the phone faced down.

I’ve had this exact case on my 16 Pro for just over a year now and absolutely love it. It has never come off or even shifted, the leather has a nice patina, and it keeps my camera lens slightly protected. This, plus a nice screen protector (and titanium sides) has been the perfect setup for me-ymmv.

The leather feels nice not as soft as Ryan Leather’s iPhone 15 PM case I have but I guess Nomads will take some time to kinda change its appearance over time, overall the case is nice buttons are perfect no hard clicky sounds the fact that I got it for £51 from Megamac as compared to £75 on Amazon no clue why but I am happy with this case so far!
