These types of posts are hard to answer for obvious reasons and you will only get responses of how similar jackets/sizes fits other people that you've never seen. Honestly the best option for you is to find a retailer (TNF, DSG, Academy, REI or whatever) and try on one. The 30min it took to do this could save you a headache and now you know for sure. When my north face 700 nuptse got wet, it started getting these dark spots on the jacket , does anyone know a way i can get them off?

Modern DWR on north face gear is not very water repellent. The spots should should dry out, rain shouldn't leave dark spots unless it's just the wet down/feathers (that's what makes it look like dark spots as the feather is damp) and they need a bit more time to dry out. If they don't go after time you need to wash the jacket. More on reddit.com

The North Face 700 Nuptse Jacket !!! (review and w2c in the comments)

W2C Review: I've contacted probably all the sellers who had this jacket for sale within my budget and with a considerable amouth of sales/reviews. They were arround 7 and from all of them i ended up picking this one. The main reason i picked this one was because it was the one i thought looked the best considering price/quality. Kept in mind that most of these jackets on dhgate don't have the hoodie which is an easy way to tell they are fake yet this one was one of the few who got the hoodie. I'm extremelly happy with this jacket, it's incredibly confortable, and warm. Seller claimed the filling is the same as the original one which is something like "700 down fill" (not sure what it means thought). As you can probably see by the pictures it screams quality, it's perfect from it's stitching to the puffiness (most of the jackets on dhgate have a puffiness problem but not this one ahah) and also has everything as it should (as far as i know). I included some close-up pictures so you can see all the details. If you find any flaws please let me know. Seller has a huge variety of styles for this jacket. Even has supreme colabs, the most recent colorways and some diferent models. In case you are looking for a diferent one take a look to his page or even send him a message, he was super kind with me and helped me with everything. About sizing I would say it fits the same as retail, i got an XL and don't see much diference from the retail one but just in case you wanna make sure guide yourself by the size chart. Shipping: Shipping took arround 1 month and 1 week but i went with the cheapest option and also it caught the holiday season so i'm not sure if will allways take this long or could take less time. Hello- i’m trying to buy a used north face puffer for a bit of a cheaper price and worried about sizing since I wouldn’t be able to return it. For reference i am 23, 5’4 in height and about 120 lbs. I want the jacket to not fit snug, i like oversized things but i don’t want to be drowning in it. Would an XL women’s size work? Would a Men’s small be too big? Id like to fit a long sleeve underneath and possibly one other layer under as well. Any help would be appreciated :-)
