Vincenzo Trattoria near Glenwood and State. This is hands down the best Italian left in Boise. Vincenzo is a Roman (central Italian) guy who's lived here and had a restaurant for a while. His main chef is Napolitano (central southern Italy). Their food is made fresh from Italian recipes. Some of the specials use Vincenzo's garden fresh produce. This is the closest to the amazing food I ate in Italy. More on reddit.com

I would recommend Vincenzo Trattoria or Luciano's. My first choice would be Vincenzo. Vincenzo Trattoria is ran by this old Italian dude and his wife. Reservations are a must and there is no DoorDash or Uber eats. The service may be slow since there is not a lot of staff, it’s family run but you’re in for authentic Italian food. Would recommend grabbing a bottle of wine while you wait, would recommend for a date night or anniversary as the meal can get pricey. More on reddit.com
