Those are provided directly by the college board, and the ISAFA exists specifically for international students that can't afford the css fee, as the college board doesn't offer international waivers. So recently i got accepted into Northwestern University. i opened their financial aid link and it was talking about some CSS profile i had to fill out that was due in February. I completed my entire application thru Common Application and there was no mention of this CSS stuff.
basically their website says i cannot receive institutional aid without this form but i thought they based it off of FAFSA’s expected financial contribution …
i’m not sure if this makes sense but is there like anything i can do??? or does anyone know how their financial aid works?
Update: I did what the moderator told me to do, emailed admissions, and submitted my CSS form immediately and the school said they will still consider me for institutional aid!

Sorry to say it but you missed a major step. Public schools use FAFSA, but a lot of private & even a few public schools require CSS also. Do what the moderator suggests, but given that the deadline passed without you even submitting an incomplete CSS they are likely to tell you they can’t help you this year, you can apply for aid next year. (I know - that doesn’t help you this year)
