So the game told me to use lava, I used lava, not enough heat, sure enough, iron says it needs 234, only at 200, but how do I get that 34? The recipe said a bucket of lava should do it, but it didn't. Do I need to use a different block? Have a melter on top of seared heater, already melted down tin w/coal.
So I made a full smeltery in my world, because for whatever reason the mini one wouldn't get hot enough to melt the amber even with a bucket of lava. So this was the very basic smeltery, with 1 controller, 1 seared tank, 2 faucets, 1 casting basin and 1 casting table.
At the level of smeltery I can only put 9 things in at a time. I filled my smeltery with about 6 ingots worth of Molten Iron before realizing I don't have the right sapling to make ironwood. So I switched to Tin and filled up the smeltery with molten tin. I right-clicked to properly put the birch sapling in the Casting Table which is where I know it's supposed to be. But for whatever reason when I right click the faucet for the casting table, nothing comes out.
Do you need a certain amount of molten tin to turn the tree into an Tin Sapling? And if so can a basic smeltery even meet that amount? Do I need a cast? I'm unsure what I'm doing wrong and considering this seems to be how I get the remaining trees I'm stuck unless I start doing cheats which I'd prefer not to
This is my setup I can’t identify the reason why it would not melt iron any advice would be helpful.
Made a steel farm that uses the Melter. but the iron is Melter is really slow. Can i speed up the Melter in any way from the default?
How do I use the melter and set it up properly? Also how to get the fluids out? I put mine about a pool of lava to get max heat to burn the acacia wood for amber, but it's full now and I dont know how to get the amber out to turn into crystalized amber. The info button for the melter is very vague.
