First question: do you know how to read sheet music? If not, I'd suggest learning this note chart, it really helped when taught myself to play. And for beginning, I'd start with some scales like here Get a metronome app as well to help with timing, that's pretty important. Hope it helps

I thought it would come naturally as I learn piano but after a couple months although I confidently know all the physical keys I still have to go from the treble and bass clef on the sheet and say the notes in order to find what note I need to play.
Is there a good exercise (or exercises) that can help me see the note and instantly know what note it is?

The best exercise IMO is to just keep reading music. There are apps that "gamify" the process but honestly I don't think the offer anything you wouldn't get by just reading, other than being able to use it when you're away from the piano. Realistically I think you won't use the app for long though, at least for me I used one for maybe a week and then just forgot about it.

If you're learning to read music at the same time as learning piano then a method book is probably your best bet. That will take you through technique, theory and reading music in a structured way, starting off with the simple stuff etc. I like Faber's adult piano adventures but there are others.
