I am working my way to the philosophers stone and I’m trying to work with a 17x17x17 reactor and I’m having a really hard time with heat I have had one meltdown and I have sense rebuilt it and have been using a lever for the really high heat. I have tried to use the nuclear craft reactor designer but it has been 5 hours and it is still computing. Any advice is extremely appreciated.

If you are using leu-235.com , you can stop it whenever you want and go with whatever setup it currently has. After a couple minutes, you're pretty optimal so letting it run for a long time isn't worth it. The big thing you have to do is mind the exact fuel you plugged in and make sure you followed every line on the calculator and made sure to click PO3 where it says to. Normal vs Oxide fuel can throw it off if you're using the wrong one. The best way to check you built it right is before inserting fuel, make sure reactor's heat value matches the calculators.

Hey there! A while back I made a post about how to copy your reactor designs in-game to the clipboard for adding to the FTB Wiki, but now we have been gifted a much neater solution to the problem of sharing reactor designs, in the form of u/Hellrage's reactor planner! Using this, you can share configs and reactor designs easily using its saving and loading feature.

The source repo is here, where you can find the releases, feature list and changelog. Grab the executable and the 'Newtonsoft.Json.dll' file, put them in the same directory, and you'll be good to go. Make sure you're using the latest 1.x build for the 2.x version of NC, or the latest 2.x build for the 2o.x version of NC! There is an introductory video to help get you started :)
