I'm new to reddit and I've noticed some profiles show null when you view them Anybody know what that means exactly? It is an automatic thing or?
Hi I apologize if this is the wrong place I have no idea where to put it because it keeps getting deleted on help because that sub thinks I’m trying to appeal a ban?
Anyway, I tried messaging with the link they had to contact the mods but it says (null) and despite my googling I. Couldn’t figure out what it meant
My original question was basically my sis got shadowbanned but she wasn’t a big Reddit user in the first place but even so with her account permanently suspended (no idea why we don’t stalk each others posts ) the message saying so also included a link to make a new account. Again, she didn’t use Reddit that much so she never bothered but I was a bit confused.
Wouldn’t creating a new account mean ban evasion? What does null mean? I’m neurotic as a anxious chihuahua in a thunderstorm so every time I post something and some tin goes wrong I freak think I got shadowbanned
Is anyone able to clear this up for me?
Again sorry if this is the wrong sub for this, I tried the help sub but they automatically closed the thread and gave me a link to check my account status and to be quite honest I don’t know where else to ask this so if I m missing the appropriate sub and made a mistake, I’m very sorry it wasn’t my intent.’
If you do feel like explaining the answer to these stupid questions thanks
Hey, all. I'm going through my discord data and I've found two kinds of discord IDs;
"LONG ID HERE": "Direct Message with Deleted User 123AB45C#6789"
"LONG ID HERE": null"
I'm currently trying to figure out how to open some old DMs that were deleted, and though I have a picture and the ID/link they sent me, I can't for the life of me find a way to open DMs.
Dunno I just send a friend request to the accounts if I have their tag and name and it gives me the dms.
After glancing at my own data package, I've also got a null channel. Looking at [package]/messages/[long id]/channel.json shows it has type: 3 and recipients: [array of user ids], which relate to a group DM chat
tl;dr: group chat with no name explicitly set.
been getting a lot of hateful comments the last few days, and some of them - by the time i go through the comment section and see them - don’t show an actual user, but just say ‘null’.
does this mean they were a p*ssy and blocked me before i could react, or does it mean instagram suspended their account?
After my friend dmed me a message it created a group chat with this "lae"/(null) person. i wanted to know what this was.
