September 23, 2016 - I will sign this email “Bozo”. With my new revelation expressed in my last email, I went into MD and “applied” for “online banking” from Chase. Put in my passwords, etc. and instantly got an email asking, as you indicated they might, for verification via their secure messaging section - which it did. I repeated the task for the other Chase card but it seemed to be covered by the initial verification. I signed out of MD then back in and miracle of miracles, the “download (Chase account)” in the online dropdown was no longer grey!!

NULL is used in computing most often (always?) to signify "not a value." This is different than zero: in a bank database, a zero value means no money, while a NULL value means there has been no value assigned to the balance.
This is a specialized usage, but increasingly common as more people learn to program.

Almost the only time you hear or see null is in the legal expression ‘null and void’, while nil normally indicates that a football team has scored no goals. If the bottom line of your bank statement shows neither a credit nor a debit, what you have is a zero balance.

(I typed in my whole reply and signed in but I don't see my reply. Forgive me if it shows up twice.) · · I am having the exact same issue. We uses classes for everything and I'm used to being able to see it on transaction reports. · Roberto - I did discover a workaround that seems to give me what I need. Run the report Transaction Detail by Account (under Accountant). Then add 2 filters: · 1. Transaction Type = Credit Card · 2. Account = Expense & Other Expense Accounts · The classes show up on the expense transactions. I hope this is helpful to you.

Hello Roberto Verde, · · There are a few things a want to clarify so we can get to the bottom of your concern. What specific report did you pull up and customize? Each report has their own corresponding ways of pulling up data. It depends on the sour of the information such as the fields, columns, or items. · If you pull up the Account QuickReport of a bank account, it should display the classes as long as it is also assigned to the transactions. You can open the transactions on the report you pull up and review if there are classes assigned. · If you're referring to something else, additional details such as screenshots and the name of the reports would be much appreciated.
