Hi everyone. I have a few questions regarding some terms that I have come across in Farsi and Dari news articles. If anyone fluent could quickly look these over and provide some advice. I use Google Translate initially, but go to farsidic.com for more detailed definitions if needed. However, these were slightly confusing. They are numbered to make it easy for anyone who has a couple minutes to provide a response.

And please let me know if any of these are really obscure and I can forget about them. Thanks!

1. Does the word ردگیری mean tracking?

2. I saw the word فی الارض a couple times in an article and it came up as "on Earth" although I assume this is used for religious references. For example, is مفسد فی الارض a religious term (corruptor on Earth)? Or is this something way off?

3. The word مصایب means misery, correct?

4. Does استخاره کردن mean to consult a book- or is that definition way off?

5. Is بیلان a balance sheet- like ترازنامه? Is this a rare word?

6. Does اشیا usually refer to food items- or can it be any set of items (clothes, etc.)?

7. Is رویارو a confrontation- or is google translate providing the translation for روبهرو (face to face)? Nothing in farsidic for this.
