r/verizon on Reddit: Text messages from my own number that just say "null"
October 1, 2022 -

Hey everyone,

Today I was received 2 text messages from my number that just said "null." This was right after I sent 2 text messages which seemed to go through just fine. I was wondering if anyone knows what this means? I recently blocked a number, so I'm not sure if that is related.

Thanks in advance!

NULL Definition & Meaning - Merriam-Webster
1 month ago - Let’s be honest: null is kind of a nothing word. That’s not a judgment—it was literally borrowed into English from the Anglo-French word nul, meaning "not any." That word, in turn, traces to the Latin word nullus, from ne-, meaning "not," and ullus, meaning "any."

Text message invoice receives as "null". What does this mean? There is no link to invoice. | QuickBooks Community
February 10, 2026 - QuickBooks Online (QBO) has introduced a new feature that allows its clients using QuickBooks Payments to send invoices to their customers via text message, alongside the traditional email delivery. However, this feature is currently in its beta testing phase. This explains why you received a null message instead of the link. While we're diligently working to refine and optimize this feature, occurences like these may occur. Rest assured, our development team is actively addressing any issues to ensure a seamless experience for all users. In the meantime, I suggest sending your sales form through email.

Question Corner: Does my ex have to be involved in the annulment process? — Jenna Marie Cooper - The Dialog
March 6, 2026 - Does my ex absolutely have to be involved, or is there some way around this? A: The short answer is yes, the marriage tribunal really would need to contact him about your case. For some background, a declaration of nullity — which is often popularly, but somewhat less accurately, called an “annulment” — is a formal statement from the Catholic Church that a marital union which initially appeared to be valid actually had some sort of defect that prevented a true marriage from ever being contracted in the first place.
