June 3, 2023Any thoughts on Nuna Demi Grow stroller?
I don’t have personal experience but I’ve done lots of research since I can’t make up my mind and the Nuna basket seat has a higher weight limit. I think 50 lbs while the uppababy second seat is 35 lbs. I’ve also read that toddlers love the basket seat cause they can climb in on their own and they think it’s their own fun special nook that’s cozier and more protected. More on reddit.com

October 8, 2023Stroller bag for Nuna Demi Grow
I know your post is old, but I’m wondering what you ended up doing. Did you gate check? Did you find a bag that fits? I will be traveling with my Demi Grow domestically within the US soon. I will be gate-checking the stroller frame and car seat attachments, while the regular seats will go in a separate checked bag. I want a bag that fits the stroller frame - we are happy to take the wheels and wheel fenders off. Do you have advice? (We are traveling with twin infants and a toddler, so a travel stroller is not the right option for this trip). More on reddit.com

Hi everyone!
I’m pregnant with didi twins due in January, and am looking at strollers to purchase. I think I’ve narrowed it down to two choices, both quite different.
Donkey Duo 5 or Nuna Demi Grow
I always liked the idea of a side by side but worry about width. This being said, we don’t live in a place with lots of small doors (or so I think?). We’re in the suburbs of Vancouver, Canada.
I had my heart set on the Donkey Duo, but then I just discovered the Nuna Demi Grow & feel like it might be more manageable with size and weight. We drive a lot, but also I want to be able to utilize double bassinets for walks around the neighbourhood (which we also do a lot).
I’ve read tons of reviews on here of the Donkey Duo, however don’t see much about the Demi Grow.
Any advice?! :) thanks so much 🫶🏻

The demi grow is only like 4” narrower than the donkey in duo mode. For car based lifestyles it really stinks to have to assemble/disassemble your stroller multiple times per day to fold/unfold in and out of the trunk. The donkey fold is a BEAST but at least it’s physically capable of folding in a single piece if you have the trunk space for it (as a nanny, I didn’t and I had to remove both seats and collapse it all the way to mono width to put in my own or the family’s car - fortunately we were city based and didn’t drive too often. Loved that stroller but despised having to drive anywhere with it). The demi grow will always require a seat to be removed to fold, and in double mode you give up a lot of basket space and the practical ability to use the more upright recline positions of the seats (especially with older toddlers with longer legs).
