I looked at all sorts of Nuna stuff for like HOURS last weekend haha so here’s what I can remember from that deep dive… The woman working at the store immediately steered me away from the urbn. She said it was designed for travel (which is why it’s only available as a travel system option). It has the latch connectors built right into the seat, but you have to screw around with trying to fit it in properly every time. I told her I travel a ton and thought it would be compatible with that lifestyle, but she said that seatbelting one of the other pipas is the better option when traveling. The base seems really easy to use for regular use in my car- you can also get multiple bases if you have multiple cars so it’s a simple click-in vs having to reconfigure it regularly. The lite vs regular decision is mostly finishes. The lite obviously weight less, but I feel like in the grand scheme of things, what’s like 1 more lb to carry short distances? The lite has a no-rethread harness (had NO clue what that meant before that day, but the lite has a locking lever system to move the harness up/down, but the other one, you have to remove/reinsert the belts to get it where you want it. The finished feel a little nicer/comfortable on the lite too. The Demi grow was just weird to me- as a single, it’s GIANT, and as a double, the second kid’s seat takes away the basket space (they’re basically on the ground) More on reddit.com

We have the rx and purchased it because it can be used with or without the base, I’m not sure if the new lite rx can be also? But for some people it’s a pain in the butt to move the straps when baby grows but it’s honestly so easy. Edit: so the lite can also be used without the base. I think it’s more expensive because it looks more luxurious and because of the no rethread which is a feature I don’t think they’ve had before. More on reddit.com

Are you me? We’re in the same position with the Lite being discontinued. Ultimately we wanted the lower weight, so I picked the Aria, but I had to make a little spreadsheet (there were 5 seats at least) to help narrow it down. The Aria’s headrest looks different from the Mesa so maybe they changed something about the chin to chest situation? I wouldn’t have known about it except for another person on reddit mentioning it. Part of my “oh f it” let’s just try the Aria is that I’m so sick of this or that-ing between the Pipa and the Aria. I managed to throw the Cybex Aton G Swivel into the running, but wanted the decision to be over already. Oddly enough I know exactly which convertible seat I want, but waiting for the replacement for the Nuna Lite threw me off for a while. I feel like posting a review on here when we do finally use it! At this point, the Doona would be basically single use since babies tend to outgrow the Doona around 8-10 months. So I would say it's not worth it, but I suppose that also depends a lot on your financial situation. Also don't forget that the 2 hour rule applies to the Doona, so if you are planning on using it as a stroller for sightseeing and what not while you travel, that could limit your ability to be out for long periods of time.
