Anybody ordered a Nuphy keyboard and received it in Canada? Specifically Quebec? How much were the custom duties and how long did it take to arrive?
Thinking of ordering the Halo96!
Are there any added import fees for Canadian buyers? Any Canadians with any experience?
Will the AirV3 be available for pre-order to Canada? It doesn’t seem to let me place it.
I haven't found them available on amazon.ca or any local third-party seller so far.
They are only available on the official NuPhy website but the delivery fee is almost the same as the price of the keycaps, which doesn't make sense to order (the keycaps are 19 USD and the subtotal is around 35 USD before taxes).
I'm looking for Shine-through nSA Profile PC Keycaps / Air75 V2 / Black.
Any suggestions?
If anyone has had a NuPhy keyboard shipped to Canada, did you have to pay duty / customs?
I was under the impression NuPhy was located in America, now I see it’s shipping from China. Worried the extra fees will be through the roof!
Dear NuPhy customers,
We have some exciting news to share with you regarding our products and services!
Firstly, we are thrilled to inform you that the switches on both Air75 and Air60 have been elevated from 1.0 to 2.0. Gateron low-profile 2.0 switches incorporate pre-lubed technology, resulting in a smoother typing experience, while the reduced spring length of 13.5mm further enhances tactile feedback and key responsiveness. By embracing low-profile 2.0 switches, we are confident that you will notice a tangible difference in the overall feel and performance of your keyboards.
Moreover, we have successfully negotiated with our logistics provider to optimize the shipping costs to Canada. Effective from May 10th, 2023, the shipping fees for packages destined to Canada have been adjusted. To ensure fairness and transparency, for all orders placed before May 10th but dispatched from May 10th onwards, we will take the initiative to refund the price difference in shipping fees within the following 3 days.
We sincerely appreciate your support and trust in our brand. Our commitment to providing you with the best products and user experience remains unwavering. Anticipate more exciting updates and innovations in the near future!
Best,
NuPhy
hey there! looking to buy a keyboard to ship to Toronto, but unsure whether I should get express or standard shipping. any Canadians here that could provide their experience on shipping times and potential duties? thanks! :)
UPDATE: ordered it april30, just received it may 8th through dedicated shipping
Ordered an Air75 on Tuesday (today Friday), still no news on the order. How long does it take on average till an order is shipped?
Also, where is NuPhy located? Their website is not giving away any information on their facilities. Where do they actually ship from?
Edit: Received a tracking link today (Saturday)
Hello,
I ordered my Nuphy keyboard on November 15th. In 12 days it traveled about 30 km and is still in Hong Kong. How long did you wait for your keyboards before they were shipped to Europe?
I have read several times here and elsewhere that it takes about 15 days, but did your follow-up seem to be progressing?
Thanks !
I was wondering if any of you ordered the Nuphy Air75 v3 after the preorder period—and if so, has your keyboard already shipped?
I know the website says they’ll ship orders after all preorders are fulfilled, but I’m just curious if they might have started shipping non-preorder orders already.
For those who bought the air 75 v2 and got it shipped to Canada or us, what were the shipping times like?
Thanks.
What have you all experienced in terms of shipping times? I ordered some keycaps 7 days ago and they just got shipped out of Hong Kong today 😓
I placed an order 5 days ago and haven’t gotten any updates on it. I got a confirmation email that has an order number and a link to shopify, from there it had me download the Shop app to track the order from there but all it says is “processing shipping”. I just saw on Nuphy website that they also have a link on their page to track orders, it asked for my order # and email, but it keeps saying no order found. One site is saying the shipping is processing while Nuphy’s site can’t even confirm the order. I’m stressing out because I’m a college student and writing a big paper for the end of the semester and I need to be able to start on it soon. I just sent an email to support, when I sent it from gmail I got no reply. I tried again with my student email and got an automatic response saying they do their best to answer within 3 days. I went with Nuphy because there’s so many good YouTube reviews but now I’m worried I’m not gonna get my order.
What's up guys --
I'm new to this Mechanical Keyboard world. I really just found the first keyboard on Google and thought it was good enough to start with. I asked for my sister to get it for me for Christmas.
I sent her this link here: https://nuphy.com/collections/shop/products/nutype-f1-aw20-late-summer-night-ver?variant=33126725255277
Well... She just called me and asked if the website is a scam website. When she put her PayPal information in, it forwarded her to eBay... And then when she went back and did it again, it forwarded her to some celebrity gossip website.
What's strange is that I just walked though the process to ensure that it wasn't a scam PayPal setup that just "looks" like PayPal, but it's legitimately PayPal's payment processing center.
All in all -- I told her to change her PayPal (Call and repot fraud, just in case), and her eBay password.
But I'm definitely sketched out by this... Wondering if anyone has some insight as to what's going on with them? After doing a quick search on Reddit, I see their Indygogo didn't have a bump-free takeoff.
Also... Looking for a mechanical keyboard that's around $130, so if there's any recommendations, feel free to drop below! Steering clear of these guys, and whatever they got going on.
Update: I went with the Keychron. It has worked pretty good for a year.
It gets a little finicky when it dies, but for the most part it's great.
Yes. I pre-ordered the Air 75 a few days before their pre-order period ended on 10/5/2021. It arrived yesterday.
The company was active on instagram and communicated with customers there to explain shipping delays.
I'm very impressed with the build quality and design. Everything about it is vastly better than I had expected or hoped for.
I just bought my first mechanical keyboard and am really excited to get it. I read the shipping information on the product page and ordered it thinking I'd probably get it within a week of ordering. But, when I went to the shipping policy page it says something completely different and I'm feeling a little confused and mislead. Can anyone clarify this for me? I have provided pictures of both statements on their website. Thanks in advance!
Had a horrible experience with NuPhy. Two things:
-
They refuse to accept returns if the package is opened or the product is used. Yet their refund policy on their website mentioned that we may return the item in original condition if we are not completely satisfied with our purchase. How do we find out if we are satisfied if we don't even open our package??
-
The first package is lost in transit. They kept me waiting for a month since the package dispatch date and after my four email chasers. Eventually this is resolved by them sending me another package through DHL. They also did not honor the $25.99 shipping cost refund eventually and gave me $10 refund (for a $163 order) instead for my troubles.
This is literally the first time I write negatively about a brand on reddit, as this is really disappointing given how much they spent on marketing and how well known they are.
Edits for updates (First off, thank you all for your attention!!)

Lodged a PayPal chargeback. NuPhy asked for a return to an Asia container address in order for me to receive a refund.
-
The return address reads super odd - "XIANGGANGKWAI CHUNGRMC&D,1/F,BLK.2 ,KWAI TAK IND. CTR., 15-33 KWAI TAK STREET, KWAI CHUNG, H.K. Tel :36931229 A/C : (ECM2294TCN)Attn : Thomas". I looked it up, XIANGGANG seems to be Hong Kong..

Shipping cost is prohibitively expensive: very likely costs ~$100. Will be asking for a US shipping if they have any; if not, I guess it is what it is.
(see screenshots below)
1.1 (Refuse to refund)
1.2 (Return policy on their website)
2.1 (Offered shipping cost refund at the beginning)
2.2 (After sending out the replacement, they refused to honor the shipping cost refund, and said that they would refund the shipping cost only if I waited for the original package, which had never arrived. And the "premise" they mentioned was not brought up in their original offer)
