March 10, 2025 - Pictures are posted above. How does it work as a keyboard? Well, it feels really good. If you've ever typed on an Air60HE or Air75HE with the LP Jade Pro switches, it feels and sounds very similar to that.

NuPhy Kick75 Review: A Great Low-Profile Keyboard—Just Don’t Buy THIS Part! - Crafting Worlds
February 21, 2025 - Right out of the box, the NuPhy Kick75 stands out. The transparent case gives it a unique, almost Game Boy-esque look, something we haven’t seen much in the mechanical keyboard world. The build quality is solid, with layers of sound dampening foam, making this one of the best-sounding low-profile keyboards I’ve tested...

January 10, 2025 - The weight, sound and feel are remarkably close to the low-profile Jade Pro HE switches in the AirHE models. I've also used Wisteria and Cowberry switches in my Air96v2, but prefer the Moss. I don't have the Brown nano switches for the Kick75 to compare with, but the Moss switches will be heavier and much more tactile than any Brown variant (which includes Nuphy's Wisteria switch).

NuPhy Kick75 review: Modder’s delight
NuPhy Kick75 review: Modder’s delight
It isn’t a bad sound by any means, ... like the sound from NuPhy’s heavier mSA mid-profile caps. Obviously, you can change to standard-profile keycaps, which I’d recommend unless you specifically need the portability benefits of low-profile. With a set of NuPhy’s fantastic mSA caps and some panda switches, you can expect the beautiful gentle thock of the Halo75 V2 and NuPhy Gem80. I haven’t found the NuPhy Kick75 to be the fastest keyboard around for typing. My test unit sports ... NuPhy’s magnum opus

NuPhy Kick75 Mechanical Keyboard
I feel like I say this with every ... like NuPhy just continue to improve. The slightly larger case here, paired with a neat gasket mount, allows for a much fuller and deep-sounding keypress. Going back to the Air75, while still enjoyable, those similar-looking keys come across hollow and almost a little rattly. If you’re curious just how different the two similar keyboards can sound, you can check out a brief sound test below. There is more to the Kick75 ... A keyboard that can swap between low profile and regular switches, we check out NuPhy’s flexible Kick75!

Def need to update my equipment. I have a new phone with a better camera on the way, along with a mic and a tripod. Want to try to get some good flat lay-style shots with crisper audio.

My Air75 v3 should arrive in the next few days. Can’t wait to test it out!

r/NuPhy on Reddit: Nuphy Kick75 Problems
June 10, 2025 -

Hello Everyone,

I've normally bought mechanical keyboards from the big names, corsair, logitech, and what not, etc ..

I decided to go with something different this time and got myself a Nuphy Kick75 (nuphy io) version. I've had some issues since and I am a little frustrated.

  1. The keyboard backlight flickers a lot if left idle for a while, stops when I use it for a minute or two but its annoying as hell when Im using a controller and this thing starts flickering. This only happens when in wired mode and plugged in.

  2. I tried to avoid the wired mode but I was forced to do that as the 2.4ghz dongle will randomly disconnect (Rarely but enough to annoy me) or when I reboot my computer it will flat out not connect to the dongle unless I disconnect and reconnect the dongle.

  3. Bluetooth mode to my work mac laptop will not automatically connect randomly and I have to reconnect it.

Above points 1 and 2 are using a windows desktop.

I tried updating, resetting the keyboard with no improvements. I read online some people suggested to reflash the firmware but on the Nuphy website they don't even have the kick75 listed under their firmware page. I am kind of disappointed and at this point regret buying this. Should've stick with razers and corsairs as they have never disappointed me to that degree.

Anyone has suggestions or am I missing something to get these issues addressed? Other than the above the keyboard feels incredibly well constructed, the switches are super nice so are the keycaps. Sad to have the connectivity issues though.

Cheers!
