I literally agonized over the decision for our nursery chair and we ultimately decided on a Lazboy Pinnacle Glider recliner (even after looking at Monte, Dutalier, Pottery Barn etc). Our babe has yet to arrive but I sit in that chair literally every single day and it’s the best, most comfortable chair ever. Definitely not the most aesthetic, but in terms of function - we love it so far. More on reddit.com

We have the “Dream On Me Chatham Swivel Glider, Recliner, 360° swive“ from wal mart and we’ve had it for 2.5 years and we still love it. Reviews were hit and miss and I was nervous but we have no regrets. A friend of mine has the same one and also enjoys it. It was on the cheaper end of options and I would 100% purchase again. Can’t speak to the height aspect though, I’m 5”3 and my husband is 5”8. More on reddit.com

We love our la z boy. The fabric is stain resistant. It rocks and reclines. You can even get ones with a phone charger. Very comfortable and the back is nice and high so it’s very supportive. The arm rests are a good height for nursing. Mine still looks brand new somehow! More on reddit.com

I am looking for recommendations on a good nursing chair. The one we bought unfortunately is a complete lemon and squeeks and clanks when rocking or moving in it. It completely wakes the baby up. Completely frustrating since we spent $2000 dollars on it. It even has a new base added to it, but after a few months it started doing it again. And of course the company we bought it from is now no longer in business so we are SOL.
Hoping to find something comfortable for nursing and rocking the baby to sleep. A recliner isnt a must, but definitely looking for something upholstered.

Hi!
I'm looking to buy a nursery chair but I'm kind of blown away by the prices. I really want a recliner/glider that will work in a small space but is super cozy - ideally not a rocking chair.
I see Walmart seems to be where the price is right but I worry about the quality when I went to see one.
Im looking at the West Elm Beckett recliner right now.
Would love to hear what everyone thinks! I'm not opposed to buying used but I've been scanning marketplace for months and haven't seen what I want come up!

I want to warmn you about the absolute shit show west elm / crate and barrel has been. If it’s not available for cash and carry I would look else where. It took almost 1.5 years for our nursery furniture to arrive, customer service was awful too. I’m not the only one, I recall a post a month or so ago with other’s expressing warnings. I got a Monte off market place for $300 and it is so good. I’m debating buying a new-new one! It’s so good.

Wondering if anyone has recommendations for an affordable nursery chair? Location wise anywhere within the GTA would work. We are taller people so the chair would need to accommodate that. I am so overwhelmed with reviews and researching and I'd greatly appreciate guidance.
