Hello,
Is there anyone who could tell me how to run Tinfoil and Nut on my MacBook Air M1? I know how to do it on Windows but not here. Some time I will be without Windows PC so that’s why I am forced to try it on my MacBook.
I already tried to do it the same way but first problem come with opening .exe file.
Thanks for any help.

So I started out by following these steps:
macOS Instructions:
-
Install Homebrew https://brew.sh2. Install Python 3sudo mkdir /usr/local/Frameworkssudo chown $(whoami) /usr/local/Frameworksbrew install python3. Install PyUSBpip3 install pyusb4. Install libusbbrew install libusb5. Plug in your Switch and go to Tinfoil > Title Management > USB Install NSP6. Run this script python3 usb_install_pc.py <path/to/nsp_folder>
I've put the usb_install_pc.py file on my desktop that I found in the tools folder here: https://github.com/Adubbz/Tinfoil/blob/master/tools/usb_install_pc.py
I created a folder on my desktop called NSP
I plug the switch into my Mac and load up Tinfoil and go to File Brower, then usbfs and it doesn't see anything?
I run python3 usb_install_pc.py <path/to/nsp_folder> (replacing the < > with my NSP folder on my desktop) and get COMMAND NOT FOUND?
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks for any help!
Any tutorials out there for installing nut on Mac in terminal. Keep getting stuck trying to use the github how to.
This may be a stupid question but can somebody please explain to me how i can download Tinfoil and Nut, i’m new to switch hacking so i’m still learning stuff about it
Keep in mind i’m using a mac
I have tried to follow youtube tutorials aa well as "Aluminum foil" to get this to work but I have had no luck so far. Any mac users out there who are installing files over USB on their switches? Can anyone please help me out or have a guide I can follow? Any help would be really appreciated
So, for those that don't know... TF now let's you do all kinds of cool stuff without any setup. No FTP, no SMB, no NTP, and not NUT server. If you plug in a USB cable to your PC with TF open, you will not only.be able to access your SD card, but also will be able to see things such as Installed content in a nice file structure. In addition, you can even drag and drop XCI, NSP, and NSZ to a location called Install. When you drag n drop into there, it stream installs immediately on the switch. So if you transfer an 18GB XCI into there, the moment is done you can close TF and play the game.
Also other locations accessible easily. But yea, not sure if many people know about it so here's a post. On mobile so formatting might suck, and no pics sorry.
