Does anyone know if there is a way to directly add an Nvidia control panel shortcut to my start menu?
Obligatory right click on desktop. But you could also pin the following to start menu. "C:\Program Files\NVIDIA Corporation\Control Panel Client\nvcplui.exe" More on reddit.com

r/techsupport on Reddit: NVIDIA Control Panel's button not working
January 14, 2025 -

Long story short was trying to get back the Nvidia control panel icon as usually.

Opened Control Panel to check and uncheck it form desktop tab.

But this time for some reason the "Show Notification Tray Icon" button at all doesn't work and is stuck in one state and that constantly on and can't be unchecked.

I did bring back the icon other way(after a reinstall reset and few other things)

Bur now I can't at all uncheck or recheck "Show Notification Tray Icon" button and when icon disappear will need to do bring it back with other method???

Why is that button isn't working and isn't able to be unchecked at all.

My PC is Lenovo ideapad Gaming 3 with Nvidia 1650ti GPU and Intel I7 core if anything.

This problem only appeared today and even yesterday it worked normally.

EDIT: Maybe found a way it go fixed.

went to Nvidia experience where there was a certain driver I couldn't normally install few time and noticed that i could do custom reinstall. Did that with all the boxes checked in the custom reinstall. and after it did the job this issue disappeared from control panel.
