To my understanding we need new Vulkan extensions and then for the driver to make use for them. The turnaround for Nvidia making a bigger feature/fix and it landing is many months, so "soon" is doubtful. I skimmed the video - the guy should stop scribbling on a board, he's halfway to being a doctor, it's very hard to read. More on reddit.com

It’s supposedly better performance but still not the complete uplift as that requires other things to update, anywhere from 2-15 fps depending on the game, that said, the driver is still in beta so expect a lot of bugs or crashes.
