How do I clean and maintain my Oakley MOD helmet?
Remove the ear pads and liner, hand wash them with mild soap, and allow them to air dry. Wipe the shell with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals and do not machine wash.
Are Oakley MOD helmets compatible with non-Oakley goggles?
Yes, Oakley MOD helmets are designed to be compatible with most goggles, but using Oakley goggles provides the best fit and anti-fog performance due to their integrated design.
What safety certifications do Oakley MOD helmets have?
Oakley MOD helmets are certified to ASTM F2040 (USA) and EN1077 (Europe) standards for snow sports. The MOD BC also meets EN12492 for mountaineering safety.
When I wear the MOD1 helmet it’s comfortable on the head but I find my ears to get very uncomfortable because of the hardish material on the sides.
Does anyone know if you can replace them with more comfortable ones and where to get them? If you can’t take them out which I figure does anyone know some sort of liner or sleeve I can put on them that make them more comfortable?
Thanks!!
Everywhere I read that the inner liner and the earpads are removable. I can remove the inner liner, but I cannot figure out how to remove the earpads. The manual doesn’t show how to, and I cannot find any article or video tut that shows how to. Does anyone know?
