Where is the Office Customization Tool?
Is it possible to use the Office Customization Tool (OCT) on existing installations?
Office 2019 - No MSI to install. How do I install it?
Why use the Office Deployment Tool?

Help!
The website https://config.office.com just opens even in Microsoft Edge an empty website.
Thank you!
We've got a specific configuration.xml file we created with OCT, and we know it works with the deployment tool...but we've got over 700 machines with Office currently installed, and we'd like to deploy those changes with the xml file to all of them. Is that possible?
I finally got it to work after trying several variations of the XML file.
First go to https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=49117 and download the Office Deployment Tool
go to the folder where you extracted the Office Deployment Tool - There should be a setup.exe and some xml’s
Since I am installing Office Pro Plus 2019 I deleted the office 365 xml’s
I created the following xml and named it configuration.xml (I changed source path to folder with setup.exe and PIDKEY to my MAK key from volume licensing)
open up cmd as admin and change directories to the folder with the setup.exe
run setup.exe /download configuration.xml it created a folder in the same directory with about 2gigs of data
once done run setup.exe /configure configuration.xml
It ran the installer and finished.
A lot of the example xml’s Microsoft’s page has shows:
I kept getting errors until i removed those lines.
I went to our Volume licensing page excited to download Office 2019. I go to Office Professional Plus 2019 and click download and it turns out to be Office Online Server which I downloaded and installed.
I am really confused about how I get Office installed now. I see Microsoft will no longer offer MSI’s and looking at documentation only confused me more as to how I need to install it.
