Hey Gang, I’ve been working on my new home office. Hopefully it comes across that I’m going for a masculine/elegant lounge/cigar bar kinda vibe. I’m a little stuck trying to figure out what to do for storage on that back wall behind where I sit at my desk. I can’t do anything directly behind the desk as there wouldn’t be enough room to roll my chair back. So I need to flank the desk with some type of storage on the left and right. At first I thought I wanted to do tall custom built-in style bookcases, but now I think I want something that is more pieces of furniture. I really need some cabinet storage and some shelves above. No somewhere between 35-40in wide and 15-20in deep. Nice work. It reminds me of ‘blonded oak’ finish in the 50’s early 60’s. The actual cabinets are very 50’s-60’s ‘Mad Men’ look. I like it. It’s simple but stylish. More on reddit.com
