I have a double offset under mount sink and my wife wants to have a new sink with just one bowl. The granite is cut irregular so I’m not sure how to go about it. Can a top mount work with the granite offset, or do I need to find under mount with the exact dimensions. Also, could I cut the granite to give space for larger top mount to go in??
My sink currently looks something like the link I shared, with the faucet in granite, and the right sink smaller than left sink.

Do not cut the granite yourself. Hire it done. Too many things can go wrong, and polishing / cutting the edge is a special skill set.

Cut the granite. The top mount will look ugly. You might be able to find an under mount the size you need but you probably will want a little larger. If you don’t have the tools or experience to cut the granite just pay a contractor that knows what they’re doing, you won’t regret it.
