Hey guys i wanted to purchase a magsafe wallet but havent found many i liked entirely. I found the ohsnap wallet which i really like but it has no magsafe support. Would i be able to put a magsafe ring on the back of the wallet and conenct it to my magsafe compatible phone case? Thanks for the help.
Hey! I recently purchased an OhSnap 4 Luxe and love it! Great fidget, great grip, especially for when I am at work using my phone for work things. But I am looking for a recommendation for a magsafe wallet that would work well at snapping onto the OhSnap. My only concern is since the OhSnap sits above the phone case, the wallet would either need a recess to accommodate the OhSnap, or have a really strong magnet to keep it held on tightly.
Right now I am rocking an Akeeni XSTO wallet EDC, and really want to upgrade to a magsafe EDC.
Any suggestions on Magsafe wallets you enjoy and work with the OhSnap 4 Luxe?

I have the magbak wallet and what I like about this wallet is that I can stick it to any metal. But the downside is I can't stick it to magsafe car mount.
The new Oh snap grip wallet you can mount it to a magsafe car mount plus it has more card slot. It's pricey though.
One thing that concerns me is how strong the magnet on the oh snap grip wallet. If I stick it to a metal, I'm worried that the wallet will come off from the phone.
Just got it today. I’m disappointed. The overall design looks good. Simple and looks durable.
The issue is the strength of the magnet. The magnet on the other side where the grip is located is really weak. It slides down on my metal locker.
I have an iphone15pro and it’s not even heavy. The magbak wallet I have really strong magnet on both sides.
Plus it wiggles a bit with left and right with little force.
The reason I got this was so I can just attach the phone with this magwallet to my magsafe car mount. The magbak wallet, have to remove it since the other side isn’t magsafe compatible.
This Oh snap has both sides magsafe compatible.
For the price, not worth it personally.
Don't even bother ordering online try finding it in stores, Walmart, target, etc. I ordered two online didn't get the colors I wanted because they said "preorder" weeks go by no update I email customer service and they say all are on pre-order till mid October. It's past mid October and no update still. Pretty scam like .
Hello, so I just got this ESR wallet from Amazon and I’m having just a little issue connecting it to my FindMy. But so far the wallet looks amazing and just have a few questions for all of you that use wallets like this on a phone.
So, do you guys keep the wallets on the phone all of the time or do you take it off at some point? Do you guys put the phone with the wallet in your pocket or how do you even carry it around? I just want to know what’s the best and safest way to carry my phone with a MagSafe wallet on it and if you guys generally keep it on all of the time or not. Also I cannot connect it to FindMy, hopefully there’s a solution to this.
I was wondering if anyone used this MagSafe wallet and how was your experience using it. Name of the MagSafe wallet is ESR Upgraded for MagSafe Wallet, 5 Card Holder with Adjustable Stand, Secure Grip Finger Loop, Magnetic Wallet for iPhone 16/15/14/13/12, Not for Mini, Not Find My Compatible, Black. I have iPhone 16 pro max and I am also wondering if you think it was too bulky or not.
Got this one as my first mag safe wallet recently, so just adding a little hands on, since I didn’t see a lot of non-influencer content for this.
Rating: 3/5
Caveat: This is my first MagSafe wallet, so it might be that this form factor isn’t for me, and my expectations are out of whack!
Pros:
-
Looks and feels luxurious. I got some compliments on the looks and it has enough of a contrast difference between my purple iPhone 14 Pro and itself, that it looks distinct enough, but well suited.
-
The in hand feel is great, really smooth edges and bevels. I tried the saitek one in the Apple Store and this def feels more premium than that.
-
Magnets lock well
Cons:
-
Capacity is dramatically overstated. At 3 cards, all 3 cards don’t uniformly come out when I push from the back side.
-
It’s a little heavy
Others: The stand is good for landscape mode, but for the portrait mode, the phone sits at an odd angle, it’s more for using your phone while it lies on your desk without it being totally flat. Can’t really face time due to the angle in portrait mode.
I mean as a millennial I basically never carry cash anymore. It happens. At this point I've got my ID and a couple of cards and that's it. Tell me here who uses a MagSafe wallet on the back of their phone and exclusively uses the MagSafe wallet… How do you find the experience? Do you ever get over the fear of losing all your shit or like is it always just in the back of your mind? I suppose if you have any recommendations I would like those as well because I'm brand new to this and I'd like it to be a good experience. Give me your protective, luxury, whatever options.
EDIT: Decided to try the Pelican Shield MagSafe RFID Blocking Wallet. Not that I need the RFID but can't hurt. I like the design, and I like the latch system, feels more secure to me.
EDIT 2: I am also going to try the bellroy 3 card case. It’s al all in one solution that looks super appealing.
Im using ESR wallet, but it is bulky, big. All i neef is a wallet can STAND (horizontal and vertical) and can hold 3-4 cards or 2 is fine
Hey all!
I have an iPhone 13 Pro and got the leather Apple MagSafe wallet when I purchased it a few years ago.
Unfortunately the time has come to replace the wallet but was bummed out to see Apple no longer sold the leather and the fine woven is a big step down in quality (especially for 60 bucks smh)
I’m looking for any recommendations on any MagSafe wallet at a reasonable price. Def prioritizing magnetic strength (can’t be losing it) and durability ! I only use it to carry 2 cards so space for additional cards/money is not needed.
If possible I’d prefer one to match my forest green iPhone just like my current one but am not opposed to other colors for a superior product.
So far I’ve seen good things about the esr and spigen one but looking for all suggestions !
Thank u! :)
Not even a year went by, I was using a mount when I took off my phone and the ohsnap stuck to the mount so I tried to pull it off and the middle spinning part came off and SNAPED(lol). But over all garbage lol don’t buy.
I bought the ohsnap wallet without realizing that it is not magsafe compatible, can i buy some magnetic thing and stick it on my wallet so that it can magsafe to my iphone?
Whimsy. It is theoretically possible, but not recommended. Even if you succeed, there will be a lot of inconvenience in use, and it is recommended to refund and buy a new one.
Got those magnets and they work great. Sticky on both sides and can turn the wallet into a MagSafe accessory. Would recommend
I really only need room for one card: my ID. With Apple Pay accepted most everywhere I go these days, I don’t need physical cards for payment. I do always forget my ID when buying alcohol though so it’d be nice to have it with my phone.
At the moment, I have the Moft wallet stand thing. It’s cool but I don’t really need the stand part.
Please help me find my husband a good MagSafe wallet.
Needs: secure at least 4 cards, slim (<10mm), great magnet, easy to access cards while attached to phone, available in Canada
Doesn’t want: a stand, something flimsy
Would be nice: card access from the side, not the top, looks nice
He’s been looking at Code 118 (the cash strap goes all the way around?), Ridge (sold out of everything but bright green) and Fantom (looks like it might be difficult to get cards in/out).
I’m open to inexpensive and expensive alike so let the recommendations fly!
