Oklahoma car registration online is available through the state’s official platform, OkCARS at okcars.service.ok.gov/_/. This system allows residents to renew vehicle registrations, manage renewals, and access services 24/7.

• Eligibility: You can renew online if your vehicle registration is not more than 10 months delinquent and you have a valid credit/debit card, checking account, insurance information, and a driver’s license or FEI number.

• Process: Enter your vehicle’s last four digits of the VIN, tag number, and other required details. You’ll receive a confirmation email and can print your receipt or have it emailed.

• Delivery: Renewal stickers or new metal plates (if needed) are mailed within a few business days. Some third-party agencies, like Classen Tag Agency or Garnett Tag Agency, also offer online renewal services with next-day processing.

• Important: Starting September 1, 2024, new and used vehicles purchased in Oklahoma must be pre-registered within two business days of sale using OkCARS or in person. Pre-registration includes receiving two pre-registration decals and a metal plate (if needed) to affix within ten days.
