What sold me finally on the card was when I made a BIG purchase and they were able to show me that with the added 30% on top of the 40% sale they were having I saved soooo much… I went from like over 500 to less than 200. So I’d give the advice to really push it with people who are making huge purchases and actually giving them what their new total would be. More on reddit.com

Yes. I use it whenever they offer 50% off your order for being a card member. They have that sale a few times a year! Edited to say: I pay mine in full every month. That’s important. More on reddit.com

I’m an employee, so I can’t even use the cardmember sales, and I still say it’s worth it. If you shop there relatively often, the points alone are a great benefit. I have $79 in rewards sitting in my account right now just making normal purchases the past few months. Also, if you get approved for the MasterCard, they regularly run 5% back at grocery stores, restaurants, and gas stations, which also helps the points rack up! More on reddit.com

The first purchase with it gets a 30% discount. It’s a pretty standard retail card with 5 points per dollar spent at the GAP brands. 1 point everywhere Mastercard is accepted. Every 100 points you get a $1 reward certificate you can use on purchases. You get free faster shipping on online orders over $50 when you use it. If you shop at the GAP brands then the card is valuable since it covers all stores within the GAP brand. It has no annual fee so no real reason in closing it unless you legit can’t stand looking at it. It has a high APR but won’t be a problem if you pay in full every month.

Hello! I’m a new employee at old navy and I love it but I have social anxiety. Approaching people for a card im having a bit of trouble with. Old navy having so many sales plus the card members getting 30% off confuses me a bit because customers ask if the sales add onto the %30. (I think it’s 30% sorry bad memory) I’ve asked managers and such but I get more confused when they explain. I think I just need it in writing. ANY tips are appreciated and helpful. This is my second job but first job in a clothing store so I’m such a noob.

just push cards when you’re on register. I wouldn’t bother telling ppl about cards doing anything else. On the ipad it shows you how much you can be saving with the old navy mastercard.
