As the title suggests, anybody else notice what I’ve been noticing the past 6 months or so?
You can no longer select to see clothing on different model sizes (used to be able to choose xl)
They now only go up to xxl on bras and underwear and a majority of pajamas (used to go up to 4x)
Some of their newer items coming out do not go up to the full extended size 30
A good handful of new items are not modeled on plus size models at all - no matter how far you scroll to try and see it
Just something I’ve observed that goes along with the very concerning skinny trend taking over in society once again. Seems the pendulum is swinging back and I’m super disappointed in some of old navy’s decisions.

I know Old Navy was shitty a few years ago for launching extended sizes and then taking them out of stores, but lately I have seen some GREAT deals on pants and denim in the clearance section.
This may be specific to NYC because that’s where I am, but I’ve seen some good denim for under $10 in sizes 20-30 at three different locations in Manhattan. Some of them are in weird baggy/balloon fits but those are great jeans for turning into cutoffs, especially when you’re only paying like $7.
Wanted to spread the word because plus size girlies deserve a good deal and some of these deals are basically highway robbery.
I’ve always bought my jeans at Old Navy, but I was looking on their app tonight and they only go up to 18 now in tall. I need jeans for a trip and I’m an older millennial so I like to go to stores and try them on lol. I have no idea what size I wear so I usually just grab 4 different sizes and take whatever fits.
We all know about Old Navy putting plus sizes in stores, only to yank them when they “underperformed. (It, coincidentally I’m sure, was also some of the boxiest, blandest clothes from them in a while.)
I just went online to get some new long sleeve shirts and realized they’ve also removed the ability to select what size model you want to see.
I’m just so frustrated. They did such a bad job rolling out the in store plus size section, blamed us, and then used it as a reason to take away even more options.
Old Navy is great with having plus size options and they have models of various sizes to model the clothes so you have someone who is small and extra large. This is something some of the plus size clothing companies don’t do as they only have the clothes in smaller models.
However, while there are plus size clothes options , quite often the plus sizes aren’t available? So they not have enough and they sell out fast?
