I have a Simmons Beautyrest World Class Plush Eurotop queen sized mattress I bought in 2007. The mattress looks like the day we got it... no real sags and very comfortable.
My wife and I recently bought a king bed and tried to get the exact same mattress. I measured our queen at 12 inches high, and I found a BR800 plush Eurotop with individually wrapped coils, plush, and 12 inches high....
When it arrived it was one of the firmest mattresses I've ever slept on. I returned to the store, and the salesperson advised us to put the mattress on the floor and walk on it for a few days to break up and soften the gel foam. It definitely feels much softer after two days, but it does not feel nearly as comfortable as our Simmons.
We're wondering whether we should have kept our queen now because of the headache. 😭
Could anyone help answer a few questions from an ignorant mattress shopper?
Does anyone know the match for the 2007 Beautyrest World Class?
Would a BR800 plush pillowtop at 13.5" be a better match?
Would a BR900 Silver plush pillowtop at 14.74" or Eurotop at 13" be a better match?
