Color Palettes for Olives and Neutrals
What are your favourite truly GREEN/OLIVE eyeshadow palettes?? Most marketed that way seem to just have one or two greens and the rest are other tones entirely, OR they're really cool toned (which isn't great with my skintone imo)...
Recommendations for Olive/Khaki eyeshadow palette?
ColourPop's The Child palette is a really great one tbh, I feel like it's kind of slept on lol.
Charlotte Tilbury's The Rebel palette might also be nice if you're into luxury, I haven't tried this one personally but it looks really beautiful in swatches.
ABH Nouveau palette, I duped this one out and it really leans into the olive tones.

So this is kind of a trick question because warmth (as we understand it in makeup and fashion) is inherent to an olive green. Blue plus yellow make green, which along with red are considered the true "neutrals". To make an olive green, you add more yellow (warm) before desaturating and darkening.
Adding blue (cool) instead would make that initial green more teal. If you like olive green eyeshadow, by all means wear it! But if you wanted to lean into your cool undertone try a blue-leaning green instead.

Lots of questions on my last post about color palettes for folks that don’t fit into the 12 sub season system. Fret not! This is what I’ve been using for myself (neutral olive, soft autumn). I fit best into the warm olive palette. I did not make these! I found them on google/Pinterest. I think they came from a paid tutorial that I did not do lol
