Recently I've been experiencing some strange behavior in Gaming Hub's fan control resulting in major overheating. I've put my Omen 17-ck00 on maximum performance mode in every aspect, put it on a cooling pad and set fans to work on constant maximum to cool that beast down. However, when I start a game, the fans slow down from 4600 to 3200 RPM and laptop is unable to get rid of the excess heat (90-99 degrees C on CPU, 80 degrees C on GPU). After exiting the game the fans still run on 3200 RPM no matter what happens and what setting I use (maximum, auto or manual set to 100%) until I reboot the system - then they kick back to 4600 RPM as I set them to be. I clean the fans regularly so it's not some wear / blade balance / other mechanical problem with the fans themselves. This didn't happen before latest update or two of the Hub. Anyone knows why this happens and how to solve this issue?
Basically it used to work before, and was preinstalled on my laptop(HP Laptop 15-fc0xxx), but a capacitor broke off of the motherboard so I had to send it in for repairs. But now it overheats constantly, the fans never run (sometimes it runs just a tiny amount), and omen gaming hub + the other HP settings thing (idk what its called) both weren't installed. When I tried reinstalling omen gaming hub suddenly it no longer allows me to do anything other than look at the temperature.
Looking into the only thing I can find is that if its not there then its not supported. did they take away support?
In any case my laptop keeps trying to burn my legs off and I can't use it for too long without being worried about damaging it. So is there a way that I can boost my fans or force them to max like with the gaming hub? I can't find anything in settings either.
Hi, its been a long time posting here, my 25L has been working great! But recently my fans are "always on", a constant speed and the Hub controls have no effect whatsoever... helps?
Hi guys I have an OMEN 30L with a rtx 3080 and ryzen 7 5800x. I recently did a case swap, and now I'm unable to control the fan speed. Any ideas?

Maybe fans in your new case are 3-pin, not 4-pin ones?
Two sudden issues with my HP omen 30L desktop

HP omen gaming hub only runs ONCE. After that it has to be uninstalled, downloaded, and reinstalled to just run one more time. Don't understand what has happened.

I only need to use HP omen gaming hub to set the fan to Max when gaming. Otherwise it heats and shutdown. I was OK with downloading it every time. But now, it even resets the fan to normal in the middle of the game. How can I set the fan to Max all the time. Is there any other way?
